If every person's life is a river
Some are constantly paddling downstream
They're looking to the future
Worried at what they'll see.

Others are always fighting against the current
Reliving past mistakes
Trying to fix what they can't reach.

Then their are people like me
Picking up our boats
Traveling to other streams.
