If trees were pillars connecting
The sky and earth
Then the ground would be marble
Glinting in the light
And the sky would be a temple roof
Letting in the light of the stars
And the bushes would be alters
To a forgotten god
And the ferns would be braziers
to burn your hopes and dreams
If the earth was a temple
Would we leave trash all over it?
