Listen closely now
For the story I tell
Can only be told once
-
A long time ago
When magic still ruled
And danger twisted near
-
There was a woman
Who fought
The night, the shadows.
-
And her magic protected them
The land, the people
From the dangers lurking
-
And her story was passed on
Her magic found a new host
And life continued on
-
Time after time
The magic was passed down
To the next most powerful
-
And these people
They protected us
From the hardships of life
-
But I have a secret to share
For I am the last in this line
And now, I pass this magic
-
Use it wisely. Keep it safe.
For I pass my magic to you.
