The moon glistens in the sky at night
The light shining across the land
-
And every tree
Every rock
Has been touched by it.
-
The light of a thousand stars
Cannot compare to its brightness
-
It is perfect, Round.
The light glistening
Through the air.
-
It reflects in the lakes
The rivers, streams
-
It is mesmerizing
The waves lapping
at the silver light
-
I watch the moon
As It rises in the heavens
-
And the wolves begin to howl
And everything awakes
It is almost, almost as bright as day.
-
They know what power the moon holds
In the shine she has aglow
-
Before the sun
Comes the moon
-
In the darkness
The dead of night
She shines on, giving light
-
Without her
All would be black
-
For the stars are like
Shattered glistens
Of the moon
-
She shines on
Through fire and war
-
Lighting the way
For us to come
And bring hope
-
