It is fading
Before my eyes
-
Shadowing into oblivion
Disappearing into the night
-
And the wolf pads up to me again
The one who started this all
-
She says to not cry
For everything must come to an end.
-
And as she disapears
Into the fading light
-
The falcon, the guide
Fly's to my shoulders
-
He says not to cry
For a new journey is just beginning
-
And then his wings turn to mist
Fading into the night.
-
The cougar, the end
He flicks his tail at me
-
They say not to cry
For nothing truly ends
-
And then they fade away
Leaving me alone again
-
In a land I never knew
In a place I've forgotten.
