"You cannot do this"
"My fire burns bright."
"Until it goes out."
"It won't"
-
The ancient winds shift and change
And I launch myself into the air
A familiar hum of magic flowing through me
The storm flickers all around me
-
The center of the darkness
A swirling cloud
And shadowed behind it
The source of the pain
-
Our lands have been ruined
The fires broken
The light extinguished
By the power that resides here
-
My fire is strong
But I have to admit
Can I really do this?
The darkness is wide
-
I step on the wind
As it carries me forward
To my destiny
And my doom.
-
But as darkness grows in power
Light grows to match
And so as I strike
I feel fire fill me
-
Magic fills my blood
Down to the smallest parts of me
I can hold no more
I flicker on the edge of death
-
Then the serpent fights back
A shape of pure death
He forgets,
That the storm gives both our power
-
The fire is hot
Burning bright
