A lone tree stands on a hill
Its branches high
Its flowers pure
Bright with light
-
And a young girl,
Touches its bark
Asking her mother
Why is this here?
-
The mother smiled
And knelt beside her
Pointing down
To the city there
-
This tree was once a girl
Much like you
With the blood of Morga
And the blood of humans
-
And she was sent
To the empire that ruled
And she was tested
Taunted, Jeered
-
She possessed a small flicker
A small flicker of light.
Ah, the hidden flame
Guiding us through the night.
-
But she refused
To follow the orders
She, in secret
Created a rebellion.
-
And she practiced
She used her small magic
Brightening the life
Of so many others.
-
But eventually, he caught on.
The evil empire we all feared.
He called her to his chamber
It stood right here.
-
And under torture
Under pain
Ira released her Tengmar
And destroyed this place
-
She cleaned the lands,
And made it rain
Calling life
In the desert.
-
But then, she transformed
And now she sustains us
She listens to our hearts
As the tree of life.
-
So, young daughter
You can make changes
Bright the night
With your own hidden flame.
