Look around you
Watch for life

The little nestlings
The nearby fox
All together, now.

The tall forest trees
Sneaking through the underbrush
Feeling the damp grass

Song of the sparrow
Whispers of trees
A predator approches

Wolf, Bear or Eagle?
Perhaps something more deadly
A dragon?

No, just a little lynx
Off on his first hunt
Looking to catch a bird
