When I was lying by myself
On a boat
I saw in the lake
-
A little spider
Walking on water
Towards the shore
For it, miles
-
And then I saw
A school of fish
Swimming through the current
-
They ran from the gull
And towards the dock
Where the old man
Throws fish food
-
I saw a little salamander
Orange and red
Swimming up
-
To take a breathe of air
From the surface
Before going down
To the ground.
