Look around you
Are the leaves falling from the trees?
On the ground below
Isn't it beautiful red and green?
-
But, beauty in nature is fleeting
Think of the spring flowers
Or the bright berries
In summertime.
-
Perhaps now,
You should consider a waterfall
In wintertime, when the water
Cascades down amoung snow.
-
And then the snow melts, but is replaced
By tulips and daffodils
And then those whither and die
But then others bloom
-
This cycle continues throughout the year
One thing turning to the next
One amazing thing becoming
Something else
-
And now look at what us humans have made
Cities, monuments
But they fade over time
And we try to keep them the same
-
But we're pushing against the tide
Everything changing around us
Keeping it the same isn't the anwser
Perhaps, we should look for something
Even more beautiful.
