Chapter 25

Cereza's POV

After doing our homework and hanging out for a few hours, we decided to head over to the movie theatre.

Mind you, I still had the unsettling feeling. I've had it all day. Maybe, it's just my anxiety.

Jason and Marcus said they'd be over in a few minutes. Since the movie theatre isn't walking distance, and there are a lot of us, Jason and Marcus are riding separately. We even invited Leon too.

As soon as he found out we were all going out at lunch earlier, he was like "I wanna come!" And I was like, "Are you sure? There are six couples, are you absolutely sure you want to be the seventh wheel?" I don't really care if Leon comes, I mean, we're all friends here.

He said, "Yeah, I don't care. Y'all would never just ignore me on a group outing anyway." Which is true, cause we would never treat him like that.

I said, "Okay, just so you know, we're going to see Hotel Transylvania 3." And he was completely cool about it. He's riding with Jason.

So here we are, waiting for our rides.

"So like, where are we eating after the movie?" Belle asks. My eyes widened. "I don't know, I don't think I thought about that at all." I said.

"What do we all have money for?" I asked. "Jack in the Box?" Penelope asked. We looked at each other for approval.

"I could go there."

"I don't mind."

"Sounds good to me"

We nodded in agreement.

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

"Okay chill! Only one of y'all needs to honk!" I exclaimed opening the door.

We piled into the cars, four people in two cars and five in one cause of Leon.

Me, Rae, Sean, and Leon are riding in Jason's car. Luna, Brice, and Thomas are riding with Penelope. Ryder, Belle, and Melanie are riding with Marcus.

We haven't bought our tickets yet, so we have to do that when we get there, as well as buy snacks.

On our way to the movies, I texted the group chat.

"Everyone remember to keep the Magic Realm talk on the low low.🤫" I sent.

"I got you👍🤫🤭" Rae texted.

"🤐" Belle sent.

"😶" From Melanie.

"😉🙊" Luna texts

"ESPECIALLY YOU LUNA!!" I texted.

"Why specifically me?!" Luna asked.

Me, Belle, Melanie, Rae: 🗣BECAUSE YOU TALK TOO MUCH!

We get to the movies and we empty the cars. I walk up to the box office cashier, I ask for our tickets.

"Hi, can I have 13 tickets to see Hotel Transylvania 3 Summer Vacation?" I ask.

The cashier looks at me weirdly. "Aren't you guys a little old to be seeing a kids movie?" The guy laughed.

"Aren't you a little nosy to only be a cashier? Just give us our tickets." Jason said from behind me.

"Jason!" I exclaimed. in a hushed voice. "What? He would be mining the business that pays him." He said. I asked everyone to give me their money, then handed it to the cashier.
