Cereza's POV
I was in 4th period with Penelope, I was working on classwork when some thunder rumble. It made the lights flicker.
"Whoa, guess it's starting early." I said looking out the window of the classroom.
"Welp, I'm not going anywhere, but home after school." I say. "Neither am I, I wouldn't be caught dead in this storm." Penelope says.
The rest of the day was pretty okay, with the occasional lightening strikes that nearly knocked out the power, and the stares.
It was the end of the school day and it was pouring. I said bye to Penelope, then Jason and I ran to his car. My umbrella had nothing on this rain.
"Alright, let's get out of here." Jason said starting the car.
He pulled out the parking lot and headed to my house. As we got closer to my place, the rain and the winds started to pick up.
"Jason, I don't want you to drive home in this it's dangerous." I say worriedly.
"I'll be fine baby." He says. The car starts to swerve from being pushed by the winds.
"Ahhh! Jason, you are not driving this weather!!!" I scream while clutching my seatbelt. "Just come inside! At least until the storm calms down." I begged.
Jason sighed. "Okay, I'll come in, don't worry." He says pulling into the driveway of my house.
"You ready to run." Jason asked. My hand gripped the handle. "Yeah." I said.
"One...... two...... THREE!" The moment he said three, we rushed out the car.
I squealed because it was that cold rain, and it was getting everywhere. I grabbed my key and quickly unlocked the door.
We ran inside and I shut the door behind me. I slid down the door. "Against my window, I can't stand the rain..." I sang.
"It was not that bad." Jason said. At that moment, thunder booms loudly, causing me to scream and cover my ears.
"Yes, it is!" I exclaimed standing up. I am now uncomfortable because now I realize that me clothes are very damp.
"Ew, my clothes are wet. I have to change." I said walking up to my room.
"Can I come with you?" Jason asked. "NO!" I yelled from upstairs.
"My clothes are wet too. What am I supposed to do?" He asked. "I don't know you'll figure something out." I said.
I pulled out a lounge set I've been dying to wear.
I also put on a pair of warm fuzzy socks.
I heard the door shut, then reopen after a few minutes. I run down the stairs. "Jason, what are y-" I stopped mid-sentence.
