Jason's POV
Did she really just walk out the door? Is she serious? God Cereza, why can't you just tell me what's wrong? Now I have to go get you out of the cold. I go to a closet and got a jacket out. Not for me, but for Cereza because I know her ass cold now.
I run outside because I have to go get her.
_________________________________________________________Cereza's POV
Why the hell did I choose to walk? I could have had someone take me home. I should have put something heavier on. Why is it so damn cold?
I take my arms and wrap them around myself and attempt to use that fire or whatever to create warmth. After a few minutes of trying tap into that power, I did eventually get it to work. I was really surprised when I felt warmth. It's like a warm blanket being wrapped around me. Mother, an explanation needs to be made.
"Cereza!!" I hear Jason call me from a distance. I kept walking. "Cereza, come on, this is ridiculous!" He yells as he gets closer. "Cereza!!" Jason shouts.
I feel him grab my arm and turns me around.
"WHAT!!!" I yell. Jason quickly puts a jacket around me. I shrug it off my shoulders. "I don't need that." I said.
"What do you mean you don't need it? It's cold as hail out here." He said. "I don't need it, I'm not cold." I say. Jason smacked his lips. "Cereza, it's cold, stop being stubborn and put on the jacket!" He exclaimed put the jacket back on me. I shrug it off again. "Cereza, I swear to God!" Jason yelled. "Jason, I don't need it! Here, feel me, do I feel like I need a jacket?" I asked holding out my arms.
Jason feels my arms and my hands, I flinch when he touches me. I might have not been cold, but he was. He pulled back, probably thinking he hurt me somehow. "Sorry, you're hands are cold." I said. Jason was shocked to find I was warm. "How the f-," I interrupted him. "Don't even, I don't know." I said.
"Well, if you're not gonna use it, I will. It's cold." He says putting the jacket on. Jason sighs. "I'm sorry. It's just makes me mad that something happened to you, and I can't protect you from it." He said with sadness in his eyes.
"I appreciate you wanting to protect me. I know you're upset, but there is nothing you can do." I say, cupping his face. "I can hold my own trust me." I say, leaning in for a kiss. He accepts it and kisses me back.
"I'm sorry." He apologizes again. "It's okay." I say. "I'm cold, can we go back inside?" Jason asks.
"It's your house, lead the way." I said. We walked back to his house and went upstairs to his room. Jason's room was huge. Like, why is his room bigger than mine?
"Speechless?" Jason asked. "Why is your room so big? That's not fair." I pout. Jason shrugged. "Bigger house, bigger room." He said as he went to lay on his bed. "You coming?" He asked.
"What do you mean?" I ask. Jason laughs and pats the spot next to him. "I mean, come lay with me." He said.
"Um......." I said hesitantly. I'm a little nervous. We've laid down on the couch before, but on a bed? His bed for one.
When Jason saw I was still hesitant, he pulled me into the bed with him.
"Jason wai-" I said as I plummeted onto his bed.
"Loosen up Cereza, you are so tense right now." He said as he rubbed my shoulders.
"I'm sorry. It's just-" I go silent and cover my face. Jason doesn't know it, but I'm blushing so hard right now.
"Just what?" He asked. "I, I-I feel weird." I said blushing even more. "What kind of weird?" He pressed on. "It's weird, just being in your room, on your bed." I say.
