Jason's POV

I took a breath. "Okay, give it to me straight." I said. "I need to look for something that will test your strength. That book over there has a list of things that are very heavy, can you bring it to me please." Roxianne asked.

"Sure." I walk over to the bookshelf and grabbed the book Roxianne was taking about and brought it to her. When I brought it over to her, she and Diana had a shocked look on their faces.

"What?" I asked. "Jason, I made this book weighs 6,270 pounds." Diana said. "Wow, that's not that bad. Cool, I have increased strength. Wasn't that the 1985 world record of the heaviest weight lifted by a human?" I asked. "Yes, but then I made it weigh 50 times more than that." Roxianne said.

"So, that means you just lifted over the average weight of a fifty story skyscraper." She said. I laughed. "Come again?" I asked. "Let's add super human strength to that list..." Roxianne said checking off the list.

"That's uh, that's a lot." I said.

"You wanna know what else is a lot?" Diana asked.

"What?" I asked.

"Keeping this a secret. Jason, you can't tell anyone about this. That includes your parents, your family, and your friends that don't already know about Cereza. You have to remember to keep your temper down. You don't strike me as the type to easily lose his cool, but you'll have to be extra careful. Are you ready for that? Cause if you're not you need to let me know." Diana said.

"If I wasn't ready, I would have walked out on Cereza a long time ago." I said. Diana smiled. "Why did I know you were going to say that? Thank you, for loving my daughter and for staying with her when someone else wouldn't have the courage to." She said.

"You're welcome." I said. "Let's get you home." Diana said. "Finally." I said exhaustively. "I can't believe you fell for that." Diana said.

"For what?" I asked. "Roxianne making you mad!" Diana said. "I can't believe I fell for it too. that was too easy." I said. "You're gonna have to better control of that." Diana said.

I sigh. "I know." I said.

________________________________________________________________________________

It had been week since Roxianne gave me her little tests. When me and Diana got back to earth, she told me how to keep my new powers in check. She didn't have to explain much outside of controlling my temper and not lifting inhumanly heavy things like cars in front of people.

I can manage that. It shouldn't be too hard.

I've been up at the hospital every other day to see Cereza. Nothing has changed really. Not that I expect it to. I normally just stare her, holding her hand, hoping that she'll wake up soon.

Hopefully, in a better mood than last time.

I was starting to think that it should be time for her to wake up soon anyway, but Dr. Pruitt did say Cereza was injected with a lot of sedatives, so his calculations of Cereza waking up may be a little off.

I still come and wait for her to wake up. Like right now, it's Saturday morning and I'm sitting in a chair next to Cereza's hospital bed.

My Dad dropped me off and said to just call him when I want to leave. It seems like he's the only one I can talk to who understands. He may not know about the all the magical stuff. but he understands that this is a tough time for me right now.

Which is more than I can say for my mother. She is on thin ice with me. My Mom was all for me and Cereza's relationship in the beginning, but now I don't know what vibe I get from her. She either hates Cereza or she doesn't. I honestly can't tell anymore.
