Cereza's POV

After Jason and I's conversation, I felt a whole lot better. It makes me so happy to hear him being so supportive of me. It's refreshing after being with someone who wasn't.

After my week of bed rest, I felt good enough to go back to school. Believe it or not I actually missed being in a classroom.

Jason and Penelope told me about Brianna. That bitch was good and silent when she saw me though. Keep that same energy hoe.

Marcus and Leon were glad to see that I was okay. I never knew how much they were worried for me. They literally keep checking on me every time they see me. They were acting like overprotective big brothers. It was a little annoying, but I am grateful they care so much.

Marcus and Leon are my friends too, I want to check on them as well. Experiencing what they did wouldn't be good on their minds either.

Speak of the annoying devil. Luckily, I was fortunate enough to share my lunch period with my friends. "Hey Cereza, are you-" Leon was getting ready to ask, but I interrupted him. "Yes, I'm fine." I said.

"Sorry, just making sure." He says. "It's okay, Leon. It's just a little annoying. Where's Marcus?" I ask.

"Over there, talking to Penelope." He said. "Come on, follow me." I said walking in Marcus' direction.

"Hey, P. Can I steal your boyfriend real quick?" I ask. "Uh, sure?" She said confused.

"Thanks!" I grabbed both boys by their wrist and drug them out of the cafeteria.

"Damn, you are too little to be that strong." Marcus said. "Sorry. I just need to speak to you guys." I said.

"What about?" Leon asked. "About two weeks ago, of course." I said.

"I wanted to start by apologizing for putting you guys through that. You should have never even been in the middle of all that. I know that has to be traumatizing for you both. I just wanted to know how the both of you are feeling, because you've been checking on me all day." I said.

"Um, you know I've been trying not to think about it. I kinda just been on autopilot, to be honest with you. I just be thinking, did that really happen? Like, I'm in denial." Marcus said.

"See, I'm the exact opposite. I think about it all the time. I guess I'm a little used to it because I've seen Cereza in action before. But, uh, I knew Eric was crazy, but I didn't know he was that crazy." Leon said.

"Yeah, he is. I'm sorry, guys." I said sadly. "If you feel some type of way, please say something. I've already had this conversation with Jason, but make sure you speak up. We're not going to think any less of you." I said.

"How have you been getting through it though?" I asked.

"Well, it's funny you say that cause I already use music help me through tough situations. You know I've always wanted to be a music producer. Making beats helps me relax and just forget about shit for a moment. The other day Jason was at my house and I asked him to listen to one of them. He really like it and he started singing along to it. His lyrics were fire and we just sat there making music. It really helped and I think it helped Jason a lot too." Leon said.

Marcus scoffed. "And I didn't get an invite? Y'all are not shit." Marcus said fake hurt.

"Sorry, we'll invite you to our next session." Leon laughed and Marcus laughed too.

I smiled. "Well I'm glad you guys are finding safe ways to cope. And honestly, if you have questions or you wanna know something. Just ask." I said.

"Thanks, Cereza. For checking on us." Marcus said. "Yeah, we're really grateful." Leon said.
