Jason's POV
Cereza hugged me and started sobbing again.
No fucking way..." I heard Rae say underneath her breath.
"Damn, my head. What happened?" I asked. My head was killing me.
Then I remembered, I took the hit for Cereza. My eyes widened and I pulled my head out of Cereza's lap and sat up quickly.
"What's wrong? What happened." I asked.
I looked at Cereza. Her cheeks were covered in tears. She looked exhausted as hell. Like she can barley stay awake.
"Cereza, what happened?" I asked wiping the tears off her cheeks. I started to notice that something's wrong. She's taking shallow breaths, and her eyes are looking at me, but are unfocused.
"What's wrong." I say as I grab either sides of her face.
"Cereza?" Rae asked placing her hand on top of Cereza's shoulder. Cereza put her hand on my cheek and smiled at me. Albeit a weak smile, but still a smile.
"Baby?" I asked again, but it was too late. Cereza's body goes limp.
"CEREZA!!" I call out as I catch her body before she falls over.
"Cereza!" We now hover over her. "Cereza! Wake up!" Rae exclaimed shaking Cereza's body.
"What is going on?!" I asked. "Never mind that! We need to get her to a hospital! Her heart rate is slowing!" Rae said feeling her pulse.
"I'll go call an ambulance!" Belle said running off.
"Ryder, Thomas, Melanie, go with her, help Belle lead the ambulance here. From now on, we travel in groups!" Rae ordered.
"I gotta go call Diana." Rae said. "I'll go with you." Sean said running off with her.
I watched them all run off different directions. I looked back down at Cereza. She looked horrible.
Her skin paled a little, and her body felt limp in my arms. She was breathing, but her breaths weren't really that strong.
"Hey, she's gonna be alright Jason." Penelope said place a hand on my back.
"Yeah, Cereza's a fighter, she'll pull through." Luna said.
I heard the faint noise of sirens.
"Jason! We got the ambulance here, get her to the truck!" Belle said running over to me.
I looked up to see the ambulance as well as the police.
I stood up with Cereza in my arms. The paramedics quickly ran to me. They took Cereza and placed her on a stretcher. They immediately started checking her vitals.
"Hello, young man." One of the officers say to me.
"Hi." I said. "I'm Officer Garrison, before they take this young lady off to Cedar Sinai, I need to ask you some questions." He said pencil and mini notebook in hand.
"Okay." I said. "First off, what's this young lady's name." He asked.
"Cereza Sparks." I say. "Alright, what's your name?" He asked. "Jason Brown." I answer. "And what are you to her?" Garrison asked.
