Diana's POV

We all walked to Roxianne's room and when we got there Kingston laid Cereza on Roxianne's bed, then turned to me.

"Okay Diana, start talking." He said. I was silent, I didn't know what to say. Annabella elbowed me really hard.

"Ow!" I yelled as I glared at her. "Tell him." She growled.

I sighed. "Okay Kingston, that's your daughter, her name is Cereza. She's seventeen years old." I say.

Kingston sat down on a chair that was behind him. "You mean to tell me, that I've had a daughter all this time, and you didn't care to tell me? Not to mention, you've been gone all this time. DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG I'VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR YOU??" He asked.

I had tears in my eyes. "I don't think you were aware of this, but your parents did not want us to be together. Especially your mother. She thought I was after your money just because I didn't come from royalty. Your mother said if I didn't leave, she would make me disappear by other means." I said.

Kingston sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Why? Why didn't you tell me?" Kingston asked.

I let out a sob. "I didn't know how. They didn't want us together so bad, that your mother had called me for a meeting. I was willing to do whatever it took to get along with your mother so we could be together." I paused. Annabella came up behind me and started rubbing my back.

"It's okay, let it out Diana. He needs to know." She said.

I sniffled. "I didn't want to leave, oh god I didn't want to, but I had no choice. By that time, I had found out that I was pregnant, I couldn't risk our child getting hurt. So, I left." I said.

"I don't understand Diana, what made you think I would have stood for this? You could've come to me, I would have protected you." Kingston said.

"I didn't want to ruin your relationship with your parents or your reputation. I didn't want to run the risk of you possibly getting disowned. Your family means everything to you. You are royalty, you shouldn't have had to deal with the likes of me." I sobbed.

"Are those your words or my mothers." He said. "Huh?" I asked lifting my head out of my hands. Kingston walked towards me and embraced me. I was shocked. This is the first time I've felt his arms around me in 18 years.

"I said, are those your words or my mothers? Because to me, the likes of your aren't like anything I've ever seen. You are an extraordinary gem in my eyes, there is nothing I wouldn't do for you, and that includes fighting for our right to be together, even if it means going against my parents." Kingston said.

"Now that I know I'm a father, I want to fight for our daughter, and be in her life. I wish you had come to me when my mother did that to you. I missed so much of Cereza's life." He said.

"Does this mean you're not mad at me?" I asked. "I was mad at first, oh I wanted to throw you in my dungeon for the rest of your life for leaving me. Now, I'm just glad you're in my life again, and I'm happy to see the product of our love." Kingston said embracing me.

"My love, you don't know how hard it was to be without you. I cried most nights, and thought I was going to go crazy on others. I won't let anything else scare me from you ever again." I said snuggling deeper into his embrace.
