annie's mom's name is ophelia king. basically she's an original, she was married to niklaus when the two were turned into a vampire (arraigned marriage) and then she ran off when she heard about mikael coming for them all.
she went undetected for years until SOMEHOW IN SOME WAY I HAVENT FIGURED OUT SHE FOUND NIKLAUS (i'm thinking she was in a different body) AND THEY DID THE NASTY AND BOOM A BABY WAS INSIDE HER
and that's how anastasia was born.
and SHE DIDNT DIE AT THE END OF ORIGINALS GASP, she's probably chilling with Marcel and them helping whomever.
but yeah if you were wondering ab her mom that's some information. the reason why annie has so many issues is if y'all didn't know some mental thingys are genetic do she has to deal with that from both sides, the contradicting hormones of being a tribrid, and then the normal teenage girl hormones. she is also 16, only a little bit younger than Hope.
