This whole book is now and has always been dedicated to you, Stan Lee. I hope that where ever you are, you can hear all of our wishes for a good afterlife and (for my own religion) a good next life.

Love, Bethany

It was the next day and we were all packed and ready to go.

"Are you sure you don't want me to go?" Doc asked.

"I'm sure. If something happens here, I need you and Wong to protect them. Plus, we have Peter with us," I said. He rolled his eyes at the mention of the young superhero. "I know you're not fond of him, but he is a superhero."

"Fine, but here. It's a burner phone. My number is already there," he said as he handed me a black flip phone, "Whatever happens, do not lose that phone. You got that?"

I nodded, "Yep! Now hug me before I'm gone for like four days." I proceeded with opening my arms up and he in-turn wrapped his arms around me.

"Stay safe," he said.

"Don't worry, I will," I responded as we pulled apart.

We all walked out of the building, waving to the others. It was Leslie, Dakota, Peter, and I. Leslie got into the driver's seat, while Peter sat shotgun, and Dakota and I sat in the middle.

"Okay, Ned and Raven should have already hacked the GPS system so that it can't be tracked by anyone," I said, "Let's just hope they did a good enough job."

"They did. I have faith in Ned," Peter said.

The day went out as planned. Stop at pitstops that we already had mapped out and steal food from the back. Though we all felt bad, we needed the little money we had for motels. Every time we did so, Peter's confidence in himself being a hero went down tremendously.

"Can we stop with the stealing today?" He finally asked. He was now sat next to me in the car.

I looked to Leslie who now sat shotgun whilst Dakota drove. "Don't look to me. You are our leader; it's your decision," Leslie said. She was right.

"Sure, we'll be at the motel in about thirty minutes anyway," I said, "We'll only stop at the next pitstop for a restroom break and for switching drivers."

"When are you going to learn to drive?" Dakota laughed.

"Hush! She's the baby on board; she isn't even old enough to have a permit," Leslie laughed as she slapped Dakota on the arm. Everyone chuckled as they continued on about how cute I was and how they could just pinch my cheeks. It was true; I was the youngest in the car. Leslie was 15, Dakota also 15, but more so closer to 16, and Peter was 16 almost 17. While I, on the other hand, was 13, but I guess my birthday was in a few days.

"Wait, since Peter is dating our beloved baby child, does that mean he's rocking the cradle?" Leslie teased.

"I guess?" Peter awkwardly chuckled as his face became red.

"Yeah, man. What are you going to do when you're 18 and she's 15?" Dakota asked.

"Uh..." Peter wondered. His face was a lot sadder now. I knew he didn't want to lose me, but if it were even possible for me to live to 15, it'd be illegal.

"Well, we're already doing illegal stuff, why stop there?" I said, "Dating isn't even bad, so who's going to stop us?"

"Goddamnit! Why are you so freaking cute?!" Leslie groaned.

"Hey! She's mine! Got that?" Peter protectively said as he suddenly reached over and hugged me.

I decided to play along. "Yeah! You lesbian! I'm his!" I yell back.
