***CHRIS' POV***

"LUMABAS KA DYAN." Her voice was stern and authoritative.

Lalo kong ibinaon ang pagkakasandal sa puno.

I think my heart will drop if she continues to go nearer. I could hear her footsteps louder as she steps.

I swallowed hard.

Utang na loob, Ilia.

Abot langit ang daing ko na huminto na sana siya sa paghakbang.

Halos lumuwa ang mata ko nang makita ang dulo ng paa niya sa gilid ko. Kulang na lang ay magpalamon ako ng buo sa punong sinasandalan ko.

I don't have a plan. I can't face her right now. What would I tell her? That I stalked her all the way here!?

I heaved a sigh of relief.

I missed that voice. I miss all of her..

"ANDY!!?" I shout his name.

I stepped away from the tree and when I turned around at the direction of the house, bumulaga sakin si Ilia.

She is dumbfounded and frozen on where she stands.

I froze too.

"C-Chris..." Her eyes became teary with anger.

Heaven knows how my knees almost failed me upon the revelation.

I DIDN'T EVEN LAST A DAY HIDDEN.

Nagtagis ang bagang niya sa pagkakakita sakin.

"I-Ilia...l-let me...let me explain..." I swallowed hard and too scared that she would runaway.

She scanned my whole body. Kitang kita ang pagtataka sa mukha niya dahil malayo ako sa suit and tie na suot ko, I am on ripped clothes covered in dirt.
