CHRIS' POV
[Months Later]
"Argh... Chris!" Nagising ako sa sigaw ni Ilia. She is already kneeling on the floor just right at the foot of our bed.
"God! A-anong-" Natataranta akong lumapit sa namimilipit kong asawa.
"Aaaaargh. A-ang sakiiit!" It's Ilia's 9th month.
There's blood all over my wife's legs.
Para akong dinibdiban sa nakita ko.
Parang naging lutang ako sa nasaksihan kong eksena.
Instead of running towards her ay lumabas ako ng kwarto.
After I immediately took my car keys ay kinatok ko si Eisen sa kwarto niya. I told him to wake his governess up because Mommy needs to go to the hospital. Nakita ko ang panic sa anak ko and he obliged like a grown up.
"Chris!!!" Ilia screamed my name again. I ran back to her, geesuz. Her blood is everywhere. She is crying as she holds her big lump.
Nangangatog akong lumapit sa kaniya.
"Baby.." My voice was shaking. "B-baby hold on. Be strong." Pinahid ko ang luha sa mukha ng asawa ko.
I carried her to the car, hindi ko mapigilan ang pagtulo ng luha ko sa kaba at takot.
Her blood is all over my pj's.
She is crying.
"Ilia my love nadulas ka ba? Nabunggo ka ba? Why are you bleeding??"
She only answered me with sobs.
I started dialing my cousin's number.
"Khen!!! Ang asawa ko!!" I called. Naka loud speaker ang phone as I drive.
"B-bakit?"
"Khen! She's bleeding!!" Panic was audible in my voice.
"My wife's bleeding! Khen!!"
"Nandito pa ko sa ospital I will wait for you. Huminahon ka at magfocus sa pagdadrive I will have the delivery room prepared."
He hang up.
Geesuz. Ilia...
"C-Chris!"
If I could take away the pain, I would...
"Ilia, malapit na tayo sa ospital."
"A-ang b-baby natin..." She was crying. Her face was covered with tears.
"Hush, everything will be alright.."
Nakarating kami sa hopital, God knows how, halos mamatay ako sa bawat daing ng asawa ko.
Nakarating kami sa ospital. Preparado ang lahat maging ang delivery room at ang mga bag ng dugo.
Lalo akong nanlumo.
They already called Ilia's on gynecologist at papunta pa lang ito.
Khen already assisted Ilia to the DR to find out what was happening. Next thing I know dumating ang OB ni Ilia at for cesarean section na ang asawa ko.
I called my cousins para samahan si Eisen at dalhan ako at si Ilia ng damit.
My nerves are still not in peace.
My hands are still shaking.
It was already past 4am nang lumabas ang doktor ni Ilia kasama ang pinsan ko.
