ILIA'S POV

I looked at the ring in my hand habang pinagdadrive na ko ni Chris papunta sa casa.

Eisen is with Andy.

Chris shopped for me this plain white casual dress para daw magmukha akong anghel "lalo" according to him, at para daw mas mabilis akong mapatawad ni Mama.

I don't understand why he can still joke about the situation.

"Ma'am Ilia, mahigpit naming pinagbabawal rito ang kasama niyo." Ani ng isang maid.

I turned to him  and give him a worried look.

He nodded to me as an assurance that it's alright.

I strode towards him, he cupped my cheeks.

"I will tell her I love you and she has to accept that."

I scowled at him. "Ano ba!? Nakakatawa ba yon!?"

"Sorry, it's just that I found you cute."

"Chris naman e! This is serious!" My worried expression came back.

"Stop over thinking, mahal kita, mahal mo ko, kung aawayin ka man niya dahil don, bigyan natin siya ng maraming apo. Sabi nila effective--Ouch!"

"Wait for me there ah."

"Are you kidding, 4 years after you left I am still where you left me, ito pa kaya." He clasped his arms over his chest at umupo bahagya sa hood ng Audi sedan niya. "I'll stay here kahit lamukin ako."

I smiled and gave him a peck in the lips. I saw how surprised he was lalo na't wala akong paki kung andyan ang mga tauhan sa casa.

We never kissed in public. Napakamot sya sa likod ng tenga nya. I saw him blushed a bit.

"The "CPA Lawyer" is blushing like a highschool kid."

"Psh. I'm not, Ilia."

"Okay. Okay. You're not. Sabi mo, Atty eh." I said sarcastically. He rolled is eyes.

His 6 feet height immediately towered over my 5' 6 1/2" body. He is so near I felt short. No one makes me feel short. Napalunok ako nang magtama ang mga mata namin.

His brooding light brown eyes spoke danger. "Let's see who ends up blushing after this night.

I still have tons of energy left in me, Ilia."

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko.

He laughed out loudly and victoriously.

Hinampas ko sya braso.

He snaked those same arms around me and pulled me into his body.

"It will be alright. This night will end well."

He whispered. That was our last conversation. Pumasok na ko sa balwarte ni Mama.

We stayed at the casa pero wala si Mama kaya dinala nila ko sa winery pero sobrang dilim sa Gate 2. This used to have a pathway of light pero hindi nila iyon inilawan ngayon.

I was the one walking ahead at si Mayan ang nagiilaw ng dadaanan ko. Wala siyang imik. She must be angry at me too. Suddenly, her lights turned off and that was our only source of it.

"Anong nangyari bat namatay? It's so dark, Mayan." I knew Mayan was gone in that one bit. My heart pounded so hard I tried to grab my phone inside my bag. Wala akong makita, the trees were shading the Moon's light.
