You Found Me

Chapter 1

~Kaitlyn's POV~

"Hey Simba!" I greet my kitten when I enter my apartment. He rubs against my leg and purrs before going to the couch and lying down. I walk to my small kitchen and grab a glass of water.
My phone beeps randomly. When I grab it, I see I have a new text from my best friend, Paige.

Hey Kat! Saw you running a few minutes ago! Looking great as always...wanna go to Starbucks later?

I smile and respond right away.

Sure! What time?

Not even a minute later she texts back.

2:30?

See ya then!

As Paige mentioned, I go on runs every day. I like to stay as fit as possible. I run 4 miles every other day and take 3 dance classes. Most of my friends crack jokes about "Krazy Kaitlyn" when I mention my workouts. But Paige understands. I used to be a bit overweight. So I changed my lifestyle and became more active.

I'm Kaitlyn Evans. 20 years old and living in London, England. I am 5'7 and have straight brown hair. My eyes are bright blue. And I have a strange obsession with the band 5 Seconds of Summer. I see something in them.

Anyways my normal routine is waking up, showering, playing and taking care of Simba, going to dance, taking a run, coming home, showering, eating dinner, and more Simba time. I'm a very busy girl and have no time for drama.

Today is my off day. No dance, just my run, and some free time.
I check the time and see it says 1:45.
I should probably get ready to meet Paige.
I head to my bathroom and strip down. As my water heats up, I let my hair down.

Finally I jump in and wash up. When I get out. It's almost 2. I throw on my high waisted red shorts with a Rolling Stones band tee. My hair goes up in a high pony and I apply my makeup. I put on red lipstick and black eyeliner and mascara. By 2:15, I'm putting my combat boots on and driving to Starbucks.

"Katie!!!" I hear the all too familiar screech of Paige as soon as I enter the store.
"Hey Paige!" I hug her and she hands me a cup.
"I already got yours. Iced coffee for you." She hands me my beverage. I notice on the cup it says Snoopy. I look at the cup in her hands and it says Woodstock. I laugh at her connection to Charlie Brown.

We chat for about an hour before she has to go. We hug and say goodbye. As she leaves, I check my phone. I log into Instagram and scroll....scroll....scroll....but then something catches my eye.

5SOS announced a new tour.
And they're coming to London for a show.

In that moment I knew I had to go.
I intend to be there.
