You Found Me

Chapter 33

~Ashton's POV~

It's been two days since Kaitlyn and I had our fight. She didn't come home the first night but the next day she walked in, wet, dirty, and in tears. The rest of the boys comforted her but I stayed quiet. I'm not sure where we stand right now. I'm so excited for these babies, it's just going to be too much for me. I don't know if either of us can handle them.

This morning I knock on Katie's door gently.
It swings open and we make eye contact swiftly.

"Can I come in?" I ask in a murmur and she opens the door wider for me to enter. I sit on her bed and she sits beside me, placing her head on my shoulder.

"What are we going to do?" She whispers out of nowhere.

"Hey shhh, look at me." She lifts her head and faces me. "We're going to be amazing parents. We just have to learn a few things first. Make a plan on how to manage our time with them. Ill probably have work a lot that can interfere but I promise you will never be alone. I am always going to put my family before all this other stuff." I caress her face slightly and she gives me a half-smile.

"I love you." She cries to me and pushes into my chest and holds on for dear life.

Patting her hair down I repeat it back to her over and over again.

Kaitlyn took a nap after we talked a bit more about the future. In the meantime, I went downstairs and made myself a sandwich. Before taking one bite my FaceTime began to rang. Surprisingly enough it was Paige.

"Hey Paige! Katie just went to sleep so if you wanna call back later th-"

"No Ashton I don't care I just need someone to talk to."
That's when I noticed her crinkled face and tears falling rapidly.

"Paige what's wrong?!" It takes her a minute to stop sniffling and get her breathing under control before continuing. Check your messages, I sent you a picture you should see."

I pulled up the attachment and automatically dropped my jaw.
"Aww Paige I'm so sorry. I'll talk to him if you'd like." She only nodded and spilled more tears from her eyes.

On the screen I was staring at a picture of her boyfriend Luke, kissing another girl. I didn't recognize this girl but from the looks of it, he wasn't resisting at all.

"Ashton why do you think he did this? Am I not good enough?" I opened my mouth to answer but not before the cheater himself strolled in and joined the FaceTime.

"Is that Paige? Hey babe!" He smiled widely at her face. Paige let out a heavy huff and then hung up the call without another word.

Oh the messes we get into.

A/N- sorry this is a bit of a boring filler chapter...I'm going to the city tmr but wanted to update and was kinda tired so I just made this a minor part. Enjoy!
