You Found Me

Chapter 11

~Kaitlyn's POV~

Ash and I finished eating our sandwiches and paid for the meal. As we approached the door to exit, I saw about 50 or so screaming girls waiting outside.

"I'm sorry...we could go out the back if you'd like?"

"No no Ash it's fine lets just go."

"Okay but hold on. I wouldn't want to lose you on our first date. I don't think Luke would be too thrilled with me."

I laugh and take his hand tightly. We push through the crowd of fans and are almost through when we hit a rough patch.

"Who's this whore?! Ashton we could live happily together just ditch this bitch! She's using you for your fame so girl get away from my man!"

The girl's comment pierced at me slightly. I knew I'd get hate, but it's going to be hard for me.

Without even thinking, Ashton stormed towards the girl and pulled her in close.

"Don't you EVER talk about Kaitlyn like that again!! Do you hear me?" He shouts and it frightens me a bit.

But the girl just nods and backs off and he resumes his position next to me. Or at least tries to.

Before he can stop it, some group of girls push me to the ground and begin to kick and punch me.

"BACK OFF OF ASHTON BITCH!!!"

"GO AWAY NOBODY LOVES YOU!"

"I BET YOU AREN'T EVEN LUKE'S SISTER!"

"GO DIE FATASS!!!"

Their feet crush me and I get several punches to my side and face.

Finally I feel a strong arm lift me up into a warm embrace and no more bodies hit mine.

"WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE!?" He roars with anger.

You hide your face in his neck and he carries you bridal style back to the car.

"Kat I'm so sorry! Are you alright?"

I whimper and shake my head as he places me down in the back seat.

"Oh Kat, you're getting a black eye and you have a cut on your lip." I let out a sob and begin crying uncontrollably.

Ashton pulls out his phone.

"Luke! Hey, so we got mobbed badly and Kaitlyn's kinda hurt. We're on our way back now. Get the first aid kit and make some tea." Then he hangs up the phone.

"Hold on baby we'll be back on the bus safe and sound soon." He says assuringly before driving off quickly.

When we get back, he carries me onto the bus, even though my legs are perfectly capable of moving themselves. It's my side and face that hurt. Not to mention my ego. Those hate comments really left a mark on me, but I tried not to let it show because I don't want the boys worrying about me even more.

Luke rushes to my side as soon as he lays his eyes on me.

"Ohh Katie I'm so sorry. Don't worry I'll make you feel better." He pulls out his stuffed animal penguin from behind his back and places it in my hands.

I laugh softly and hug it to my chest.

Calum brings me a mug of tea and Michael covers me in a blanket. Luke treats my cuts and bruises nicely and Ashton stormed off to the bathroom I think. I haven't seen him in a while.

As soon as the thought crosses your mind, your boyfriend himself struts out, holding his laptop close to his torso.

He opens it up on the table and pulls a screen up.

"Ashton what are you doing?" Luke asks curiously.

"Setting things right." He replies, not looking up from the screen. He plops down next to me on the couch and tells everyone to get in the shot. Then I realize he's doing a livestream.

"Hey guys. So I'm kind of upset at the moment. I know this doesn't apply to everyone in the 5SOS fam, but I'm positive a lot of you should hear this. So Kaitlyn and I started dating. And we were out on a lovely dinner date tonight when we got mobbed. However, most of the girls were being very rude. In fact, you guys really hurt Kat here. Notice her brother treating her wounds??? I just wanted to say I'm really disappointed. This hurts me so much so please stop. It's not right. Anything else guys?"

"Yeah can I say something?" Luke chimes in. Ashton faces the camera directly at Luke and I.

"Ash told me some of you thought Katie was using us and she isn't even my sister. Well this isn't something to joke about. She is my sister and I love her and if you can't accept her for who she is and why she's here, then go get a life. Just stop the unnecessary hate." He pushes the camera away in fury.

Then Ashton finally speaks again.

"Yeah, I'm just disappointed. Night guys." He ends the livestream and shakes his head in disgust.

"I truly am sorry for everything baby." He whispers into your ear.

"It's fine Ash. Trust me I'm fine."

He places a quick peck on my lips and smiles at me.

"You're beautiful, no matter what they say."

"Thank you." I tap his nose and pull him in for a deep, passionate kiss.

Maybe this is all worth it.
