You Found Me

Chapter 17

~Kaitlyn's POV~

The whole day we watched Netflix. It was almost as though we were a family, all 6 of us. Luke and Paige cuddled. I took a picture and posted it to twitter.

@Luke5SOS @Paige_the_penguin cuddle buddies! How adorable

Almost immediately they both looked down at their phones. Luke giggled and retweeted my picture. However Paige's eyes went wide and she stood up and locked herself in the bathroom.

We all assumed she'd be back soon, but 30 minutes later she still hadn't returned. I kind of felt bad because I posted it.

"I should go check on her I guess." Luke stood up and brushed his hands on his jeans before walking out. I cuddled closer into Ash. Calum and Michael ignored Luke as he left the room.

I hope Paige is alright.

~Luke's POV~

I knock on the bathroom door and waited for my girlfriend to respond or let me in.

Nothing.

"Paige princess?"

"Yes?" I could hear her trying to sound normal, but it came out with a crack and sore throat sound.

"Can I come in?"

The door unlocked as I said that and she pulled me in before shutting and locking it once more.

She didn't even say a word, she only shoved her phone in my face.

Up top was Kaitlyn's original tweet. Below there was thousands of tweets in response.

Does Luke have a girlfriend now?

Who is she?

She's pretty I guess.

Ugh NOOO Luke is mine!

I'm just happy if Luke is happy!

Why didn't he announce it???

"Babe why are you upset about this?" I look down into her green eyes.

"It's just, we didn't announce it and now they will make up a bunch of rumors about me and I don't know if I'm ready to handle their comments yet." She gushes and lets a few tears slip. I wipe them away with my thumb.

"Hey, hey. Calm down and look at me. You're amazing Paige, don't listen to them. Only pay attention to the good tweets. Besides, nobody seems to be giving you any hate yet. And we don't have to confirm anything. If you'd like, we can be 'just friends' for now."

Paige stared into my eyes deeply.

"I'd like that a lot babe. Thank you."

I smiled and without thinking, dipped down and kissed her right on the lips. And surprisingly, she kissed right back. It was passionate and slow, and fireworks went off inside me.

After we parted, we caught our breath and stood up. She fixed herself in the mirror before taking my hand so I could lead her out to where everyone else waited.

"So what should we do now?" Ashton asked after we got tired of watching Netflix.

"I say we go out to party." Calum votes. Michael agrees and the rest of us don't really care.

"I'm in." Kat says with a grin on her face.

"Me too." Ashton agrees.

"I guess we're going clubbing!" Paige exclaims.

"I guess we are!" I confirm.

This is going to be an interesting night.
