Chapter 48~ Best of Both Worlds

Daren's POV 

What am I doing here in the dance room?

I was going to practice the moves taught in class. Yes. Alone. 

And no I didn't know that this was already booked.

Teka lang. This room is free to use by students and heck I'm not just a student here but I own this school so screw them.

I looked at myself in one of the big mirrors. 

Man I need to lift more. Nawawala na mga muscles ko. 

Let me flex this muscle... Oh yeah. 

Ain't the captain for no reason. Right?

Tss Carlo better be back by our second game.

Yeah he left. Left without saying goodbye. 

But no one gets to leave me unless I know the reason why. Don't let me catch you running away from me or you won't be able to run ever again.

Especially if it's one of my players.

I would've chased him down until the airport but he called when I was just about to get in my car.

Hindi niya sinabi ang rason. But he said he'll be back for sure by our game day. 

I was startled when the door opened wider. 

I saw her confused look.

"What are you doing here?" we both said in unison.

"Siguro matutulog." she said sarcastically

"You think you're funny?" I asked her properly so she should answer me in the same proper way

"I'm just answering your question." she replied. TSS! What's with her?!? Is she on her period?!? 

Why are women so hard to understand?!? We men cannot read your fckin' minds so stop acting like we can!

During lunch she just walked away after saying i'm a jerk. 

The fck did I do to her?!?

I wasn't even paying attention to them and was just minding my own business-- and she calls me a JERK?! 

After a few years of contemplating whether I should ask her or not..... "Bakit ka ba nagalit sa'kin kanina?"

I looked at her. This girl is weird. Really weird. 

She tells you what she really thinks when you ask her.

She'll hate you one minute then acts like you're her BFF. 

She's weird like that. 

She likes getting into a fight with me.

She loves yelling.

And love making a scene infront of many people. Unbelievable. She just doesn't know how to control her voice. 

Now the students are starting to think she's dating that Garcia guy. I mean if you saw them out of the campus and eating ice cream together, while flirting, what will you think?

"I-ikaw kasi. P-pinahiya mo si Rose." mahina niyang sinabi

Why is she so concerned about her? She doesn't even talk to her. "Best friends na pala kayo? I see."
