You know saying "I'm not racist/homophobic/transphobic/sexist BUT" and then proceeding to say the racist/homophobic/transphobic/sexist thing is just like saying "I'm not killing you" to a person and then stabbing them in the face.
Just because you say you're not, doesn't mean you're not.
(This isn't a call out or anything, my grandpa is just a dick)
(Also the comment he made wasn't a homophobic/transphobic remark directed at me, I just overheard a conversation he was having in which he said "I'm not racist" as he proceeded to say something racist)
