Before Marvel and Netflix breathed new life into Daredevil, 20th Century Fox released a film about The Man Without Fear in 2003 starring Ben Affleck. This film received mixed to negative reviews, barely did well at the box office, and nearly damaged the career of its star. Gigli didn't do Ben any favors either. The two films gave Ben Affleck his first Razzie award for worst actor, which he gladly accepted. We can't really say Ben Affleck isn't a good sport. But to this day the role probably still haunts him and it's the main reason people were so skeptical about him being cast as Batman. Thankfully he proved he could be a good Batman even if the film was shit. Now Daredevil (2003) is a mess, I won't lie. But Stan Lee's cameo in that film is hilarious! In the cameo, young Matt Murdock has now lost his sight but has now regained new senses. He ironically stops an old man unaware and reading a newspaper from getting run over. When the old man sees what happened, he's left shocked, astonished, and dumbfounded by it all. This cameo never ceases to give me a chuckle. In an otherwise mediocre Marvel film, I mean it's better than its spin-off Elektra, but that's not saying much; this one's a good cameo.
