Quirk: Ice Claws- the users nails are made of Ice that is impervious to heat, they can grow and shrink them to whichever size they want and can only be broken at the users wish to do so.

Y/n POV

You were born to parents with an ice summoning quirk and a quirk that allowed your dad to have complete control over the length and shape of his nails. With a cool quirk like hers, your mom went to Shiketsu after failing the UA exam. When she was 20 years old, she met my dad, he was a bystander who saved her from a villain's dagger being thrown at her when she was distracted by an injured person. He was smitten and my mom found it interesting and she took an early retirement when they got married and had you. You had gotten my dad's shy and distant traits, but your mom's bravery and selflessness.

You applied to UA with much sarcastic disdain from my mom. You were accepted into the second class but after an unfortunate accident involving a creepy guy, one of the students was expelled. As the top student from my class, you were the one moved up. As this happened a month into school most of them were still awkward with one another but they knew each other better than you knew them. You had to leave your best friends TetsuTetsu and Kendo. You sat in front of the class representative Momo Yaoyorozu and behind Izuku Midoriya. They both seemed nice enough and from what you had heard, the previous guy who had been in your seat was less liked than the spiky haired bully in the front. You wanted to try and make friends but when you would walk up to people, you always caught them at the worst time. The only person who tried to seek me out was Izuku Midoriya, even then, it was, in my mind, 100% out of pity.

And with that, we eventually got to our rescue training unit, you had no friends and no hope of survival. The purple smoke permeated the room and split everyone up. You ended up in the mountain zone with Todoroki and Hagakure. You watched the ice of Todoroki freeze the villains and he walked up to one. You stood by and saw Todoroki interrogate the frozen men. While daydreaming you saw the battle down in the plaza and were shocked at was happening. Aizawa sensei was being overtaken and there were villains who were coming this close to killing him. You saw Tsuyu, Midoriya, and Mineta arguing, almost assuredly about what to do. All you knew was that you had to save Aizawa-sensei.

You clenched your fists and ran towards the plaza leaving the icy-hot classmate to deal with the villains he had incapacitated. You jumped and focused your energy into producing enough ice to propel yourself in the fray of the plaza battle. Throwing ice spikes wherever you could, was all you could do, being mindful of where your allies were. Out of nowhere a strong hand grabbed your neck and held you aloft in the air. You bent your head back as far as you could and saw the face of a demon with its brain sticking out.

"AAAHHH!" you screamed and let your claws grow, Kicking and screaming, hoping to get a scratch on the navy bastard. You saw villains collapsed on the floor, blood flung like paint across the red clay floor. Aizawa-Sensei was out like a light and only a few from either side remained in the little arena. Your classmates stood on the far side of the building and had varying looks of shock, horror, and fear on their faces. You got a foots worth of toenails stabbed into the beasts shriveled feet. He let out a screech and his other arm wrapped around your legs. He swung your body up like it was nothing and brought it down on his raised knee. You felt bones snap and an overwhelming pain left you at a loss for sound. Your ears were ringing and your vision when white. You were dropped and your eyes fell shut.

"Y/N!" A shrieking voice let out a cry that was enough to bring you back to consciousness. You couldn't really comprehend what was happening, but all you knew was that, the adorable nerd in front of you, Midoriya, you think, was running at you while the birdlike monster fought All Might.
