Merry Christmas! I am the worst author ever and I hate myself for not updating, but this part got me hard on writers block, then I ended up writing about half of it tonight, so here you go. It is super long, so for my next few I will try to return to my original, simpler style.

Kirishima POV
I sat in a bar all alone, head drooping over a glass of whiskey, eyes closed because if I opened them, I would have to face reality. My head was throbbing, heart pounding, and yet my mind was blank. I couldn't let any thoughts enter in, I couldn't, I just couldn't. There was the faint, high-pitched sound of a bell chiming in the back and it rang in my ears, harmonizing with the sound of a devastating gunshot. I closed my eyes tighter till I was startled by a firm hand placed on my back. My head shot up and I whirled around to see two of my best pals standing there looking morose. Kaminari and Midoriya took seats on opposite sides of me and I slowly lowered my head again so that I didn't have to look at their pitying gazes.
"Hey man, how're you doing." Kaminari dropped his normally jovial tone which rattled me.
"Fine." I lied. I felt like shit. My whole world had disappeared in one day and I had no clue as to how I would cope. Let me recap how my life had been. It all started with her.
Your POV
"CRASH!" Glass fell to the floor in shards as you jumped out of a window and into a very full dumpster with your bag of goods in tow. You vaulted out of the metal bin as soon as you could and took off running. There was nothing too special about your enhanced strength and agility quirk but it was pretty useful at times, especially when evading heroes. You leapt through a tiny open window two floors above you and tried to block out the screams of late-night office workers and the deep shouts of law enforcement bursting into the building beneath you. You took a sharp right turn and made a beeline for the window that faced an abandoned apartment building. Mentally, you braced yourself for the stinging off the glass as you ran for it at full speed. You did your best not to scream as the sharp edges cut your skin and instead focused in on your landing. In between your stomach and your thighs, you held the bag and curled into a ball as you tumbled in through the glassless second story window of the building opposite the office. You felt your feet touch cement and took off running. This was your strategy and you used it every time.
For the last five years you had completed heist after heist and had become the most notorious thief in all of Japan. You had managed to evade every member of law enforcement that had ever tried to stop you, including some low-level heroes. People all over the internet speculated as to what your quirk might be. The top options that most people discussed were shapeshifting, super speed, or teleportation of some kind. It was interesting to watch forums in real time and see these people grasping at straws for anything regarding you. Tonight, had been the closest you had come to getting caught and it was because of some random citizen's time bubble quirk that forced you to run at half speed within 50 feet of them. Luckily for you, the mask you had bought off the black market was perfect for your needs and it hid your identity completely. You had instinctively jumped out of the window and were dropping down into the alley that hid the entrance to the sewer where you would follow the set of instructions you had for yourself to navigate the complex tunnels. You ran to the corner and went to dig through the piles of garbage that the neighbor upstairs conveniently dropped from their apartment window every other day when you heard a voice behind you.
"Stop!" You whirled around and saw a hero running towards you. He had bright red hair and a unique costume that seemed to have the goal of drawing attention to his torso as he had sleeves but no shirt. You readied yourself and got into fighting position. He got within twenty feet and you threw the nearest trash bag at him. He changed form and looked like a stone sculpture of himself. The bag punctured and luckily the juices from your neighbors bag spilled out on him. As he wiped the liquid from his eyes, you used the diversion to draw and cock the gun you kept in your side. You hated death, which was why you only pulled it out as a last resort, but he was too close and you knew that even in rock paper scissors, gun beats rock.
