Quirk- User can morph into a claylike substance which they can move around and change colors of. Emotional stability and training can differ how long they can stay that way. Weakness is water and is they start moving outside of their volition, they cannot control their body anymore.
Let the bough break, let it come down crashing
When the class decided to go on a class trip during the summer of your Junior year, you were over the moon. Time with your friends outside of the jurisdiction of your overbearing older cousin! She took care of you because your parents traveled a lot for work, being a hero lawyer was tiring on them and straining on the family, but they both loved it. You loved Shiori but she was very invasive and got overprotective of you.
Regardless, back to your vacation. However, when you discovered that the trip was a three-week-long cruise, you thought of dying. You hated open water and you associated them with storms which you were also petrified of. The lighting and thunder made your rigid exterior melt into a puddle of anxious and sad play dough on the ground. It was of course ironic then, that your crush had the power to generate electricity.
Everyone was oh so excited as they stood on the dock and waited for the go ahead to board the ship. You stood holding onto your sunhat and clinging to your bag as if it was a lifesaver. The mindless chatter of others sounded no different than the harsh barking of the seagulls squawk, it was suffocating enough to be standing a mere twenty feet from endless water, but the weight of the berating birds brought you nearly to tears.
"SPLOOSH!" A bucket of salty water came out of nowhere, dousing your dress, your WHITE dress.
"AHHH!!" You yelped, the bite of the cold breach of water stung like acupuncture needles. Chaos broke out, everyone was talking at you. By everyone you meant all the girls. Mina was in hysterics, apologizing without stopping. Momo, Uraraka, and Hagakure were asking if you were okay, while Tsu and Jiro were keeping the grape-pervert facing the other way.
"I'm so sorry Y/n, I don't have enough lipids to make any clothes, I didn't eat this morning because I heard we were having brunch on board the ship!"
"It's okay, don't worry about it." Jitters gritted their way through your clenched teeth, the sopping white cotton clung to you, cooling you faster than the sun heated you. Out of nowhere, you felt warmth drape itself across your shoulders. Your hands reached and felt the leather of Kaminari's jacket. Kaminari had his eyes covered with one hand, while the other rested upon his hips.
"Wouldn't be very heroic to leave a lady in distress, now would it." As you zipped up the jacket, e gave a grin that left you flushed and nearly turned you to putty.
"Thank you." Trying to regain your composure. This certainly would be an interesting vacation.
Let the sun fade out to a dark sky
Surprisingly, when you were distracted by the beauty of a sunset, you didn't feel so queasy on board the ship. The light misting of sea spray felt good on your tan skin. You had set your stuff down in your cabin hours ago when you got on the deck. After two meals and several group games, people were released to do whatever they wanted for a little bit. You went outside to try and soak up some sun and ended up getting fascinated with a pod of dolphins that sent you off, their mocking fins waving goodbye. The cumulonimbus clouds that hovered on the horizon and framed the setting sin was enough to keep you entranced after the passing pesky porpoises permanently disappeared.
"So, that lobster was pretty good?" A static charge danced across the railing for no more than a millisecond before striking you.
"Ow, and yes, it was absolutely delicious." You turned to face your rescuer from earlier; Kaminari. It's not that you didn't like him, it was just that he didn't quite seem serious enough. Sure, he got serious when he needed to, but his constant jolliness constantly befuddled you and left you almost in fear as you had not a clue as to how to express that happiness.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to shock you, it's a drawback."
"It's fine, I understand." To say that you two continued talking would be an understatement. You had full on discussions and discourses. For all that he was a terrible student, his theoretical science knowledge fascinated you. The moonlight almost didn't light his face, oddly enough as it was almost a full moon tonight.
"Say, those storm clouds are awfully close, aren't they? Like, were about to be caught in a really bad storm." He pointed out nonchalantly. Instantly, every hair of yours stood on end. Partially from the high static charge in the air, but also from realizing that the rumbling you had heard earlier was not the waves underneath the ship, but thunder from lightning.
I can't say I'd even notice it was absent
'Cause I could live by the light in your eyes"I have to go!" You ran for a door when you were caught off guard by a crackly announcement from the overhead speaker.
"At this time, if you are not in a room, please enter the nearest room and barricade the door, we are about to experience torrential rains and high-speed winds. Please remain calm as it will pass in a few hours. Thank you!"
"SHIT!" The first few raindrops made their mark on your hands, which were firmly across your chest in fear. You bolted for the first door you saw, a janitorial closet.
It was very small, a tight fit for you but you could make do. You had just slammed the door shut when it opened again with Kaminari right in front of you.
"Don't leave me out there Y/n!" He joked , shutting and locking the door behind him. You both sat cramped, back to the wall opposite the door. The opaque door let in no light, so not only were you trapped in a room with a boy, you were trapped in a CRAMPED room with a boy in a STORM with THUNDER and LIGHTNING!
'Don't cry in front of him, he will never let you hear the end of it if you do.' Unfortunately, your requests to yourself were met with a welling of the eyes, and a clogging of the throat.
I'll unfold before you
Would have strung together
The very first words of a lifelong love letter"Are you cold Y/n, you're shak-"
Tell the world that we finally got it all right
Without thinking of the consequences, you gripped his shirt, shutting him up very effectively.
"You will tell no one of this." You warned him. He simply chuckled into a sigh, proceeding to hug you with one arm and stroke your head with the other.
"Swear it." Danger oozed out of your voice until the first echoing clap of thunder reverberated through the room and shocked you.
I choose you
"EEP!" You buried your face into his chest. Tears streaming down your face. Now you didn't care who he told, just that you made it out of here alive. He kissed the top of your head, lifted your chin with his fingertips, and smiled down at you.
"I promise." He cocked his head to the side, closing his shining eyes and leaving you with an even brighter grin.
I will become yours and you will become mine
I choose you________________________________________________________________________________
