Quirk: Divine sight- User can see anything from the perspective of a god and harness energies from other realms to attack and defend, the longer it is used, the more the users eyes are strained. If the user goes blind or has their vision obstructed by something that is touching them, they cannot use their power.
When you would tell people that you can see life from the perspective of a god, the first questions you are always asked is,
"Who is my soulmate?" and, "Who is your soulmate?" At first, you were happy to oblige, the small kindergarten you would oblige anyone and everyone who asked, but as you aged, you grew tired of obliging without anything in return. You started charging, and people went to ridiculous lengths to know who they were going to spend their lives with. As an entrepreneur you were very successful but you held no joy in telling people the answers to their math test in 5th period for $50, or if Billy from Classical Japanese was their soulmate, but it paid for you to have a nicer life so, it was what it was. Life was seemingly an endless cycle of questions, closing your eyes, and then paper gracing your hands. I mean, who wanted to let a stupid marking on your body give you a taste of who you were going to spend your life with. Then when they would ask you, rage would flood your veins and you would shut down. If there was one thing you wish you could see, it would be who your soulmate is, but no, you were forced to wait.
Soulmate markings were cool, they held the initials from your partner, then there would be an image that kind of represented their quirk or if they were quirkless, something that would represent them. Some people had lame looking ones, but you were one of the lucky ones who had a cool soulmate mark, literally. The letters 'S T' were encased in ice with flames lapping the bottom of the glacial looking image. And finally, no matter where your soulmate marking was, on your left wrist would be the first thing you would say when you met them.
Some days you would try to look for them and you would be left with nothing but a pounding headache, your nose bleeding, and your iris's looking solidly gray, like a children's coloring book. But once you reached the second year of middle school you gave up and just decided to dedicate your life to the only other thing you had in your future for near certain; hero work. Deep down in your soul, was the burning fire that told you that your life was going to be dedicated to saving people. And so, when All Might said,
"I am here!", you may not have what, or more accurately who, you can give others, but you can be there for yourself, and that was enough to push you in the direction of UA.
You spent years training your quirk, studying Pro heroes who had similar energy wielding quirks, and there weren't many. In fact, you almost spent more time watching the tactics of villains than heroes because there were simply more villains than heroes with energy wielding quirks. Closing your eyes for long periods of time to access the other dimensions energy was a common hobby if you were bored during an English lecture. Forming it into weapons was hard though, so it came as a great surprise that for your Christmas present in your 14th year of age, your parents bought you something that looked like a lightsaber handle, but it was specially designed so that I could be a whip-like weapon, a sword, and a shield. That support item must've cost a fortune, but it certainly worth it as it made your quirk so much easier to handle.

"Hey Y/n, how are you doing?" Your mom started cutting some vegetables on a cutting board, keeping her hands busy while she talked to you as you lounged on the couch, eyes busy with the patterns on the ceiling.
"I'm okay."
"How do you think you did, you were quiet when I was taking you home a few days ago, I didn't want to pry, but you've been quiet all weekend and I've gotten worried." She put the knife down, walked over to the couch and sat on the floor, her head near your feet.
