I've been awake for a while now

You laid in bed, an unassuming blush raising in your face, but it was drowned out by the white LED light of your phone screen. It was the wee hours of the morning and you had gotten no sleep for you had been texting all night long. Sero's name was written with a scotch tape emoji next to it as an indication of the recipient of your messages. He had started it, awkwardly as a boyfriend of three days could. But all the same, his trust and compliments did nothing to help your heart beating outside itself and dragging you to cloud nine.

You've got me feelin' like a child now

"WHeeeeee!" Cold air rushed your hand as you moved at an incredibly fast pace. Up and down your vision went, in sync with your inner equilibrium. Chugging wheels moved the rollercoaster car forward and gave you a childlike rush of joy. As much as the adrenaline of the paralyzing ride made you feel small and childish against the world, the hand that encased yours gave you just as much a rush of happiness.

You got off the ride and stretched, just because a ride was fun did not mean it was good for your back. When you turned around, Sero was stretching his neck and just looking at you with admiration in his eyes.

"I'm so lucky to have you." He blurted without thinking much of it. He walked toward you and grabbed your hand with one, and the other ruffled you hair like a child. You pouted sarcastically.

"I can't believe you would treat me so lowly." You pulled away and pretended to be an actress in a soap opera, your free hand draped across your forehead and the muscles in your face pulled it into a look of overreacting distress. When you came to your senses not two second later, laughter erupted from both of you, and the pair of you looked like a couple of kids, so young and in love.

I get the tingles in a silly place

It was the end of second year and you couldn't be better, 5th in your final exam, intern to Kamui Woods, and in the best relationship ever. The bell rang for the final time as your class stood up and cheered leaving your teacher in a state of awkward shock. Cheering and dancing echoed loudly from one side of the room revealing Kaminari, Kirishima, and Hanta Sero dancing like fools in a circle and cheering.

"They really are stupid sometimes aren't they." Sighed Mina Aishido as she rubbed her temple with her forefinger and thumb.

It starts in my toes, and I crinkle my nose

"I suppose, but they really are good guys." You smiled, dimples concaving your cheeks and a wrinkle appearing on the tip of your nose. Sooner than you could react, Mina had taken out her phone and snapped a picture and ran toward the circle that was now ululating loudly drowning out other people's conversations.

"No! Mina don't!" You called out but she was already showing Hanta and giggling. He blushed for a moment before looking up at you and motioning for you to come over. When you arrived, Mina had sent him the photo and he was in the process of setting it as his lock screen.

"What d'ya think?" He showed you as he turned it on after locking it.

"It's fine I guess." You supposed just so he wouldn't go on a tirade at you.

"Well I think its perfect, even your adorable nose wrinkle." He wrapped his arm around you and kissed your forehead before turning back to the rest of both of your friends.

You loved that boy so much. Which is why it hurt when you found out that his parents had become concerned with his safety at the school so they pulled him out. You were walking with him on a Saturday afternoon in mid-august when he revealed the news.

"Have you tried to convince them otherwise? That you can protect yourself, you quirk is getting really strong and so are you, especially with how you are using it." You offered your suggestion only for it to eb shot down.

"Yeah, they just don't want me to get hurt and they don't honestly think my quirk does enough good as an offensive weapon to continue to study there. They are switching me to Shiketsu, which isn't so bad I guess." Your hands just swung like a pendulum amongst the silence of you two.

"I don't want you to get hurt either, but-" You faltered, you couldn't argue, being a UA student, especially in the A class was dangerous.

"I can still be with you though." He pointed out the bright side, he rubbed the promise ring on your finger. He had given it to you when he swore to you that he would marry you one day, when you were old enough.

"It'll just be longer till we can see each other." You pointed out.

Just take your time wherever you go

"Yeah."

But what am I gonna say?

Silence again.

"Well, don't worry about it." You put on a façade of happiness, "Take your time and get a good schooling, then we can do whatever we want when we graduate, ok?"

"Yeah, my thoughts exactly!" His smile penetrated the dark clouds that concealed your joy.

When you make me feel this way

"I love you."

"I love you too y/n." He kissed you, the bright setting sun showing the setting of your current relationship, and the era of new challenges, but you wouldn't rush, you would wait, and that was good enough for both of you.

Where ever it goes I always know
That you make me smile, please, stay for a while now
