Well damn, I really have no excuses. Well, if I'm going to be honest, right now I am going through a rough emotional patch. Ya see, my dog died on Monday. She was my loyal companion for 8 years and I loved her so much. However, my overflowing emotions is what brought me back to writing.

I have several stories in the works and with summer coming around, I will be writing so much more. This story is loosely based off of how my parents met, so, without further ado, here is the story.

Quirk: Combo hit- the users strength multiplies by two every time they hit, but the hits must be within two seconds of each other for the quirk to activate.

In this modern day and age, the finer arts like sword fighting and assassination were not appreciated. Obviously, you didn't actually kill anyone, like, only villains do that. Instead you were the co-founder of the second largest Live-Action-Role-Playing, or LARPing, guild in all of Japan, the Equites Amethyst. Your best friend Fumikage Tokoyami was the guild leader, you were his right-hand woman and the leader of the assassins in your guild. LARP is a niche hobby, but those who get into it make it the most fun it can be. Everyone designs their own medieval costumes and weapons, made of foam so that you don't hurt anyone; then guilds will collaborate to rent a large park with ruins and for a weekend it will be like a renaissance fair turned to the extreme.

This weekend you were attending one of the large annual festivals a Rose Park. You were hyped for it; you had even prepared special foam daggers that were extremely aerodynamic. Your loose tunic was a nice olive shade with blue and gold deigns on the hems, including the hood that covered your head with a veil that you could see through. You had custom made leather boots and bracelets to make it even better. Everyone always complimented you for your costume, and to be frank it was one of your favorite parts, other than stabbing people with daggers.

You set up your tent in the center of the area claimed by your guild. Being in the center was one of the perks because it meant you were the closest to the fire pit. As you were setting up your cot, Tokoyami walked in.

"Hey Fumikage, what's up?" you wiped a little bit of sweat from your brow.

"I just wanted to give you the schedule in a printed form, I didn't know if your got your copy or not." HE handed you a piece of paper with a neat timeline of the weekend printed on it.

"No, I hadn't, thank you so much! I'll go over it right now." You promised.

"Well, do it quickly, the battlefield is going to be active in about 30 minutes and I know you will want to get in position." He motioned to your bow that laid on the neatly made bed.

"Sure, thanks for the heads up!" He left your tent with a smile and you collapsed on your bed with a satisfying 'fwump' and held the paper up over your face.

"Alright, battle from 4-6, cleanup from 6-6:30, Dinner from 6:30-8, inter-guild hand out time from 8-10:30, lights out at 10:45." The itinerary was pretty standard for a first day. You put the sheet under your pillow, grabbed your bow, canisters of arrows, sword, and your 4 daggers.

The tent camp was large and each ring of them got bigger until all 350 or so tents ran out and you walked through the small stretch of forest before arriving at the open field in front of the castle ruins. The grassy area was at least 3 football fields wide and 2 long, and the vast castle ruins held many a spot for assassins to hide. You maneuvered to take place in a hidden room in the middle tower. It took a bit to get there, you had to climb to the top of the tower, which was decorated to be like a room meant for royalty. You pushed aside the bed to see a small trapdoor, which you opened easily. From there you had to slowly descend in a small cavity that was 3 feet wide, 8 feet deep, and over 60 feet deep. When you were about 20 feet down, you shimmied back into a 3 by 3 hole, which opened into a room that you always used and kept stocked with backup weapons. You turned around to stretch and saw that you were not alone. A tall man with blue hair and a costume as decked out as yours stood there looking out one of the holes, which in all honesty was a place where you just kicked out a brick when you found this place your first year.
