2018 is just as much of a horribly tragic year for Ariana Grande. The ups and downs of her engagement with Pete and friendship with Selena. Hopefully, 2019 brings something different...
After the release of her singles, No Tears Left To Cry, The Light is Coming, and God is A Woman, her fourth album, Sweetener, was finally released. Ariana was excited as it was her fastest album to debut at #1. News of her engagement to Pete spread around like wildfire. She had a lot of press and events this month to promote the album.

With the completion of her collection with Coach, Selena was excited as the promotional photoshoot was released. She was at home listening to Ariana's new album and tried to send a message to her. She wanted to congratulate her on the new album and engagement, but didn't know what to think about the whole thing. She didn't even know the guy. But, she did have to admit, Pete Davidson was a great song.

Ariana returned home after filming her carpool karaoke with James Corden which would air in a few days and then be uploaded to his youtube channel. Pete greeted Ariana in the kitchen and kissed the top of her head, "Guess what, babe?"
"What?" Ariana turned around and closed the fridge after grabbing a drink.
"Sweetener is already number one in over ninety-three countries," Pete held out his phone to show her. Ariana gasped in disbelief.
"I had no idea. I haven't been on my phone all day. We filmed so much for the carpool karaoke."
"Well, congrats. You deserve it," Pete left his phone on the kitchen counter where Ariana had set it, "How was it? Did you have fun?"
"Yeah," Ariana laughed, remembering when James gave her a piggyback ride, "He carried me into starbucks. The people in there didn't say anything, but everyone was filming us. I had a lot of fun. James, Jimmy, and Ellen are all so cool. I love going on their shows."
"That's good. I know Jimmy only invited me because we got engaged, but whatever. I mean, I get it," Pete joked around making Ariana laugh, "I'm not a real popular guy. I'm just that young, annoying kid that everyone hates from SNL."
"No," Ariana whined and wrapped her arms around him, "Stop it. I love you."
They ended up eating dinner when Ariana's cousin, Courtney, and a few of her best friends arrived.
