Happily never after {FINISHED}

Chapter 4!

Steph's P.O.V:

Jai and i walked over to the park, together. Once we got there i was completely shocked to how gorgeous the park was. There was a stream running straight through the middle with a bridge over the top. Kids laughed and played and birds sang. There was flowers everywhere and alot of butterflies. It was seriously the most gorgeous place ive been in my whole life!

"beautiful.. Isnt it?" Jai said, standing with his hands in his pockets.

"beyond beautiful!" i said, gazing out at the scenery.

"haha, come on!" jai said walking towards a bend, "sit down!"

He sat down patting the space next to him, so i joined him. I was still amazed at the park, why would Jai want to bring me here? I officially love melbourne, gorgeous places and poeple (Jai) ;)

"i want to get to know you abit more!" Jai said blushing as he said the words. Why the hell is HE blushing?!

"umm.. What do you want to know?"

"why did you move to melbourne?" i gave jai a look, a scary look. I needed something to tell him. I camt tell him its because everyone hated me, my boyfriend tried to kill me and my dad beat me up.

"because i heard it was a nice place!" i lied.

"ok um.. Where are your parents?" seriously, why is he asking all the bad questions?

"back in england. I thought i was old enough to, i dont know... See the world!" i lied. Wow, im a horrible person.

"How old are you?"

"17, and you?"

"same.. What about your friends, were they nice?" im going to start crying in a minute if he asks another question like this. I wanted to say 'no they werent they bullied me everyday, they would slag me off and just mess me around.. Hardly friends at all!'

"yeah, they were lovely! You get them bitchy ones once in a while, but theyre manageable!"

"uh huh!" i saw him thinking abit. "what about boy friends? How many did you have?"

Thats it. This boy is asking me too many questions that are giving me flashbacks of my terrible life in England.

"i had.. 1!" i got embarrassed. Saying you had 1 boyfriend isnt going to impress a boy, is it?

"was he nice?"

"if he was nice, dont you think id still be with him?" i said sarcastically.

"fair enough. Im really surprised you only had 1 boyfriend, i mean a pretty girl li-" he stopped talking and looked to the ground, blushing. I could feel my cheeks go rosy aswell.

After 4 hours of getting to know eachother, eating ice cream and chasing pigeons... Jai and i were just ready to leave the park. I found out loads about jai and turns out, he is the sweetest boy i have ever met. After today and the way he treated me (like a lady) i feel like ive known him for years.

"um, steph?" jai asked. I smiled as he called me steph.

"yes jai?"

"would you like to come back to mine? Beau and Luke want to see you again!"

I really wanted to say yes, but i dont know. The only thing i didnt find out about him today was, whether he was single or not. Im hoping he doesnt. If he does, i dont want to intrude in their relationship. Ill just go for beau and luke.

"s-sure!" i stuttered.

Jai nodded his head and we both walked out of the gate of the park. All of a sudden i felt something rub against my hand. I looked down to see Jai holding onto my hand. I pulled away as soon as i realised what he was actually doing.
