Chapter 2!

Jai's P.O.V:

Stephanie Fox... This girl was the definition of beautiful. I bumped into her and my heart stopped. Beau and luke seem to like her alot, so i will too:)

I didnt really get to talk to her that well so im arranging to meet up with her again. I wouldnt call it a date, but i want to see what shes like.

I walked into my front room and sunk into the couch, all i could think about was Stephanie. Luke sat down next to me and put his arm round me.

"you alright mate?" luke asked me.

"yeah, why?" i said snapping out of my day dream.

"you didnt say anything on the way back from the shop and now your staring at a blank wall!" luke sniggered.

"i recon he likes Stephanie!" beau said, joining in.

"no! I dont even know her!" i said. I didnt want the boys to know. I didnt even know i liked her... We will just have to see what happens.

"she is smoking hot thought mate... Fair play if you do like her!" beau said smacking my shoulder and walking into the kitchen.

Just at that moment my phone went off. I had a dash of panic run through my veins. What if its stephanie saying she doesnt want to meet up? Or if she doesnt like me, she likes luke or beau? I need to stop thinking negative and read the god damn text.

I reached for the phone in my back pocket and read the text.

"i suppose i needed to text you at some point;D stephanie xoxo"

I laughed to myself as i read it. She did text me... Something positive. Well, i think its positive. I looked across to luke to make sure he didnt see my face light up. Sure enough, he did. He just winked at me and walked off.

I wasnt quite sure what to say back, the last girl i liked was in year 6 (6 years ago). I dont want to sound like a complete fool or butt kisser. Beau was the best with the girls, i think he practises on his pillow to be honest. The talent beau has with girls doesnt just come naturally.

Alot of thoughts was running through my head, then i thought of something i could say to Stephanie.

Stephanies P.O.V:

After sending my text to Jai i got all sweaty and my heart started to race faster. Seriously, what the hell was happening to me?

Maybe i need to stop talking to him, i dont even know him properly. His brothers seem nice, but that doesnt necessarily mean he is aswell.

I took some deep breathes and a terrible thought came to mind... My past life.

my mum leaving. my dad getting drunk and beating me up. My first, and last, boyfriend using me and nearly stabbing me. All of my so called friends bullying me and slagging me off.

My past life will not be talked about around luke, jai and beau. Hang on. What if Jai gave me his number because he wanted to be, closer. I dont want a boyfriend ever again after what happened with the last one. Im not going to blow jai off though... We can just be good friends.

As i started to get a head ache from all this thinking, my ringtone went off. I had a text.

"Jai;D

I opened up the text, butterflies raving in my tummy.

"hey steph, it was nice meeting you today! We must do it again sometime, what you up to tomorrow?

I stared at the word "Steph". Did he just call me, steph? No one ever called me that apart from... My mum! Tears built up in my eyes as i miss my mum calling me that and i realised Jai might not be a bad person. I dont know... I need to give him a chance but my people skills are terrible.

"just shut up and text him!" i said to myself and i did as i was told.

"it was nice meeting you too! Oh and tomorrow im meeting you at the Newsagent shop at 12... See you then;)xoxo"

When i sent it i threw my face in my hands. That was far too eager.

I got another text from jai.

"eager... I like it;) okay.. See you then! Maybe i can show you round town! Bye

I smiled and put my phone down. Ive never felt this way about someone else before. Jai was extremely good looking, i thought that ever since i first saw him. When we made eye contact i felt like we had a special moment. This boy was the definition of perfect. Too perfect. Urgh. He'd never go out with someone like me... I need to stop getting my hopes up too high!!
