Chapter 31!

*Stephs P.O.V*
"BUT HERE'S MY NUMBER! SO CALL ME MAYBE?!" Me and Beau sang along to the radio, windows rolled down and everyone outside staring at us. I giggled, leaning forward and covering my face as Beau carried on shouting out the window, adding afew dance moves too.
"Beau.. Omg.." I said, as he started rubbing his nipple to a Granny out the window. She smiled and shakes her head, walking off. Beau and I burst into laughter as the traffic lights turned green and we drove again, the wind whipping my hair over my face.
"You ready to catch some narly waves?" Beau said in his Australian accent.
"It's on like Donkey Kong!" I said, looking out my window, "Don't laugh if I fall off though!"
"Bet your a pro." Beau said, turning the steering wheel and resting his tongue in between his lips, concentrating.
"I've never surfed before!" I said, looking as Beau's facial expressions changed from concentrating, to shocked.
"What?! Omg! It's so cool! I have to teach you!" He said, pulling his car to a slow stop, "Now get your ass out the car and get a surf board!" He demanded in his fake, scary voice.
"I don't know where to go.. I-I-I" I stuttered as beau have me a glare, "I'll get lost." I opened the car door.
"No. Ill come with." He giggled, climbing out of his car. Beau actually confused me when he acted like this- he didn't even mean to. I climbed out and walked behind him to the Surf Shack.
"Hey Beau!" The blonde boy said from behind the counter, "the usual?"
"Hey Tim! Nah- got this rat with me today.. So the usual times 2!" Beau winked at me after calling me a rat. I shook my head and smiled towards Tim, who was looking in my direction.
"Hi, Im Stephanie- the rat!" I smiled, leaning against the counter. Tim giggled and introduced himself before walking off and getting 2 surf boards and 2 snicker bars.
"$22 mate." Tim said, pressing buttons on his really colourful cash register.
"22? Shouldn't it be 44?" Beau asked, confused.
"I only charge for humans- not rats." He winked, as Beau agreed and handed over $22. They thanked each other and Beau and I were off. We went and sat by the shore, tying the surf boards to our ankles.
"You scared?" Beau asked, standing up and putting his surf board under his arm.
"No!.. Why, should I be?" I asked, standing up cautiously. Beau giggled.
"No no no.." He said, shaking his head, "it's really fun!"
"You gum a teach me then or shall we just stand here all day and talk about it?" I questioned him, watching his eyes study me, "Beau?" I said, waking him up from a day dream.
"Oh what? Oh.. Urm, leggo?" He said, smiling and walking towards the sea. I followed behind.
"Right.. To catch a wave you got to.." Beau started explaining to me how to ride a surf board. By the time he had explained to me and have me a demonstration, I was ready.
"This one!" Beau shouted, picking out a wave for me to ride. I slid my belly onto my board, then paddled my hands, pushin the water behind me. I stood up and the wave took me.
"Yes!!" Beau shouted, clapping his hands together. Adrenalin raced inside me.. This is actually really cool.
"Yes Beau look! I'm doing it! I'm really do-" I was thinking too high of myself, when I fell straight off my surf board. I rose to the surface to see Beau staring blankly in my direction.
"Brilliant." He said sarcastically and smiling, sending me a cheeky wink.
"You try and do better then!" I said, paddling my board over to him.
"Watch and learn!" He said, winking and waiting for a good wave. "Leggo!" He shouted before paddling his board towards the shore and standing up when the wave reached him. He surfed for a while, but then decided to jump off.
"What?! Beau that was good, why did you jump off?!" I shouted over to him.
"The closer I am to shore, the further I gotta paddle back to you!" He shouted back.
"Lazy shit!"
"You better start swimming before I get you!" Beau shouted, un-strapping his surf board from his leg and started swimming quite quickly towards me.. Ah shit! I un-strapped myself from my board and started to swim away quickly.
"Beau! Piss off!" I giggled, trying to swim away, but I can't swim when I laugh so I starting sinking slightly- causing me to laugh more.
"Ah gotcha." Beau said, wrapping his arms around me, the way Jai used to. I stopped giggling and thought about Jai. The way his cheeky smile gave me butterflies. The look in his eye after kissing him. Most of all, the way he loved me when no one else was. Obviously, the boys love me, but not in the way Jai does. Well, I thought wrong.
"I love you, Steph." Beau said, kissing my lips lightly. I pulled away quickly.
"Beau... I-I.." I stuttered. My best friend kissed me. My boyfriends, brother just kissed me.
"Shit.. I'm sorry.." Beau said, as I pulled out of his grip.
"I gotta go." I whispered, swimming back to shore.
"No Steph, c'mon, don't be like this." Beau said, floating behind me.
"I'm sorry, I just can't... Shouldn't.. Won't. I won't do this to Jai." I said, turning and facing Beau.
"Even though he did it to you."
"Jai might have kissed Holly, but, I know what Holly's like. It was forced upon Jai and-"
"C'mon Steph! Don't give me that shit!"
"Beau, Jai was there when no one else was.. He was there for me when my best friend was agreeing that I'm a British bastard." I sighed, "Beau, I love you like a brother... But I can't do this to Jai. I gotta go. Thanks for today."
I used the rest of my strength to swim back to shore.
"So, rat, do you enjoy surfing now?" Tim said, his toned abs shining in the sun light.
"Yeah, it's really cool." I said, looking down at my feet, before looking up at Tim and smiling.
"Where you off to now?" He asked, walking beside me as I slowly made my way up the shore.
"Home," I smiled, "I gotta lot of stuff to get on with."
"Fair enou-"
"Shit! I didn't bring clothes!" I said, putting my hands on forehead.
"Come with me." Tim said, running to the surf shack, his hair bouncing and back muscles tensing with every step he took. I walked behind him as he jumped over the counter of the surf shack.
"Here." He said, passing me the top he was wearing earlier.
"Thanks!" I smiled, taking my wet shirt off, so I was in my bikini top. Tim blushed and looked down. I giggled and slipped his over sized top over my head- it fell down my body and came to mid thigh. Long enough for me to take my shorts off. I took them off and stepped out of them. I have bikini bottoms on aswell, don't cry.
"When are you expecting this back?" I asked, folding my clothes up and putting them in a carrier bag Tim placed on the counter.
"I don't mind, as long as I get to see you again." He winked, I felt my cheeks burn.
"I.. I have a boyfriend." I smiled, holding the carrier bag in my right hand.
"Well, he's a very lucky guy." He nodded him head once and smiled.
"Thank you. I gotta go." I said, walking off. Jai's a lucky guy? To have me? I kicked him out of my house for being too over the top. I was too paranoid about everything that I've just rejected him. If anything, I'm lucky to have him. Someone to call mine, someone to hold me when I'm sad, someone to kiss the tears away and someone to have a laugh with. Jai does all this and to pay him back, I kick him out of my house for something he didn't do. Jai said he didn't kiss her back... He wasn't lying.. I mean, why would he lie?
When I got to the path by the road, I ran. I ran the same when I got back from the airport, to leap into Jai's arms. To he honest, I was running fairly quickly for someone who wasn't wearing any shoes.

*knock knock knock* I banged on Jai's front door. After 10 minutes of non stop running, I arrived at Jai's house.. Out of breath.
"Hey Steph!" Luke opened the door, smiling. His smile soon faded when he realised I was trying to catch my breath, "urm, everything okay?"
"Y-yeah... Where's.. J.. Where's Jai?" I breathed, leaning the door frame.
"Urm, I thought he was round yours with Beau? Where are your shoes?" He asked, looking at my cold feet.
"Is he not in?"
"No, but come in.. You look cold and.. Wet?" When Luke reminded me I was wet, I cried. I don't know what came over me, but I cried. Remembering everything. Beaus kiss. Jai. Holly. Camping. Justin. My dad. My mum. Everything linked.
"Sshh sshh.. Everything's going to be ok" luke whispered pulling me into a hug and into the house. He closed the door behind him and the warmth of the house hit me. Where the fuck is Jai?
