Chaeyoung's POV

I plopped face first once I reached my bed, and I brought my arms under my chin to stare at my bed frame.  Did I really just have a conversation with a guy?  And to top it off, it didn't go as terrible as I thought it would.  I hope he was okay.  He must have hit his head hard on the floor....

I slapped my cheeks, shaking my head.  Okay, I shouldn't worry too much.  Besides it's already- my eyes widened in shock as I glanced at the wall clock; crap!  It's already 2 AM?!  Well there goes my beauty sleep.

-

A beeping sound blared into my ear and I groan in annoyance. Is it already 6? Darn, only 4 hours of sleep.... I got up from my bed, already missing the comfort of my blankets.  I throw on the school uniform which consisted of a white shirt; a plaid gray, white and red tie; as well as a skirt that matched the colors of the tie.  I heated up a quick bowl of oatmeal, and hastily ate it.

I could have prepared a quick, proper, breakfast, but I was too tired, so oatmeal it was.  I glanced up at the clock as I finished my meal.  It was 6:45.  I still had 45 more minutes left until school started, but this apartment was a 15 minute walk from the school.  I yawned as I grabbed my school bag.  Might as well get there early, it's not like I knew where all my classes were.

I took one last glance around my apartment, and I closed the door.  I began to walk towards the elevator when I heard a familiar voice from behind me.  "Oh, I didn't know you were also a high school student."

I glanced back to see the guy from yesterday, but this time he was looking much more presentable.  He was wearing a uniform that had similar colors to mine, but instead he had on a long sleeve shirt and pants.  He also wasn't wearing his glasses from yesterday.

"Good morning, and I'm assuming the same school?" I bowed as I greeted him. Wow, what were the chances that my neighbor was a high school student that also studied at my school?

"I suppose." He placed a hand on his mouth as he yawned.

We went into the elevator, and stood there in awkward silence.  It was only when we were out in the streets when I womaned up and initated a conversation.  "So, how'd you sleep last night?  Considering how you said you were going to sleep on the floor."

The guy glanced quickly at me and scratched his head,  "It wasn't bad.  At least I wasn't falling off my bed."  He chuckled.

"That's good."  I awkwardly replied.  The silence returned.  Now that I thought about it, I did not know this guys' name.  I should probably know it by now, but there was no way I was going to ask it myself.  It'd be to weird.  Like, "Hey, I totally didn't just meet you yesterday, but what's your name?"  Yeah, no.  Besides, I'll probably learn it later on if he's my neighbor.

"Are you new to this district?"  He voiced a question and I broke away from my daze.

"Yeah."

The conversation ended there. Oh jeez, it's so awkward.... Thankfully, we had arrived at the school entrance before the awkwardness could continue.

"So this it it." He said, nodding towards the school.

"Yup."  I glanced at him, "I guess I'll see you when I see you."

"Before you go, do you need help with finding your classes?"  He scratched his head, a slight red tint on his ear, "since you're new and all."

I considered his suggestion for a second before shaking my head, "Nah, it's fine.  I don't want to bother you anymore than I have already."  I bowed towards him before walking towards the school.
