Chaeyoung's POV

A couple days had past since I had confessed my feelings about Jungkook to Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo.  I had spent the last few days enjoying what Jeju Island had to offer, and before I knew it, the last day had arrived.

"So, how do you guys want to spend this last day of freedom here?" Lisa asked as the four of us walked around the small village. "No offense Chae, but uh, I'm really not looking forward to going back to he- school." She said, looking over at me.

I shrugged. "It's understandable to why you don't like school. I'm probably the abnormal one." I chuckled.

Jennie stopped in her tracks as she stared at something. The rest of us halted, following where her eyes were rested at.

"Ice skating?" Jisoo inquired, her eyes squinted due to the glare of the sun.

Jennie turned to look at us, an expression of childish excitement painted on her face. "I've always wanted to try it. But I've never had the time." She frowned.

We all hurried to her side. "Of course! Let's go ice skating." Lisa exclaimed, patting Jennie's shoulder. "Oh my butt's going to be sore tomorrow."

"What butt?" I joked, earning a light punch on the arm from Lisa.

"So, none of you have ice skated before?" Jisoo questioned the three of us as she crossed her arms in front of her.

We all shook our heads. "It'd be nice if I can make shadow clones of myself. Like Naruto from Naruto?" We all looked at her, confused. "No? Well, I guess I know what we're going to do during girls night..." She muttered. "Anyway, since I can't make shadow clones, I can really only teach one of you guys how to ice skate." Jisoo had a glimmer in her eyes that often did not bode well for me. Or Jennie.

I raised an eyebrow. "What are you implying?"

"Of course! Let's invite the boys!" Lisa beamed, catching on.  "Although I'm pretty sure Tae does not know how to skate, but it'll be fine. I'll use him as my human cushion for when I fall." She grinned.

"And Chae here can use this chance to get closer to Jungkook." Jisoo wiggled her eyebrows.

I groaned. Maybe I really shouldn't have told them. "Ughh, I shouldn't have told you guys..."

Lisa only smiled innocently (or evilly in my eyes) at my complaints. "Oh, come on. You'll thank us at your wedding."

"W-wedding? You're already thinking that far?" I stammered, my cheeks burning up.

Lisa chuckled. "I was just teasing. And who knows?" She mused before turning to the others. "Before Chaeyoung here murders me, what do you guys say about heading down to the ice rink?" She said, moving away as quickly as she could from me as I raised a shaking fist towards her direction. I wasn't really going to hit her. I mean, we are friends, right?

And friends don't hit friends, right?

Right.

Lisa let out a tiny shriek as I chased after her towards the ice rink, one of my fists raised as I ran.

-

"Jesus, one of you guys could have slipped on the way here." Jennie said, scolding Lisa and me.

"Sorry...." I replied sheepishly.  Why did this feel so familiar?  Oh yeah.  Jungkook said something similar to me.

I looked over at Jisoo who was performing some weird hand moves.

"What are you doing?" I asked, amused.

"Oh, this?  A hand jutsu.  From Naruto.  It keeps me warm." Jisoo inquired, turning back her concentration to her hand movements.

Jennie glanced over at Jisoo before sighing. "I have no idea how your boyfriend keeps up with you."

"He loves me." Jisoo replied cheekily.

"Indeed he does." A voice proclaimed behind us. I turned to find Jisoo's boyfriend.

"Ah, what a convenient time to appear." Jisoo said sarcastically.  "And there goes my concentration.  And dignity."  She muttered, a slight red hue on her cheeks as she let her hands flop down to her sides.

"Was I not supposed to hear that?" Seokjin mused, approaching Jisoo.

"Nope..." She murmured.

"Well, too bad. And I've seen you do weirder things." Seokjin smiled, wrapping an arm around Jisoo's shoulder.

"Did you run into Taehyung by chance?" Lisa asked Seokjin.

"Taehyung? Umm.. I don't think so. But I did see Jongin."

"Ahhh, I guess I have to contact him then." Lisa nodded, grabbing her phone.

"And I didn't see Jungkook around either." Seokjin cut in as I opened my mouth. "I have my ways. With age comes wisdom." He added dramatically.

I blushed. Were my feelings that obvious?

"Oh stop being a drama queen." Jisoo protested in his arms. "You're not that old."

"Or am I?" Seokjin winked.

"You have evidently been playing too many of those video games of yours."

"Guilty." Seokjin replied, before leaning down and placing a small kiss on Jisoo's forehead.

I cringed. "That's cute and all, and I've actually seen much more... Errr well, affectionate public displays of affection or love. Whatever the term is." I said, glancing over at Lisa's direction. "But I'm slightly uncomfortable. Just a bit."

Jisoo laughed before separating from Seokjin's arms. "Sorry, I didn't mean to make you a third wheel. Or a fourth wheel." She added, looking over at Jennie who was on her phone, occasionally glancing up. Who was she texting?

"Or maybe third wheel. Jennie doesn't seem to be paying attention." I whispered. "I wonder what she's so concentrated on."

Jisoo glanced over at Jennie. "Hmm... Well, let's leave her be. For now. You, on the other hand, need to invite Jungkook over here."

"Does it have to be me?" I complained, already knowing her reply.

"Of course. You like him, don't you?"

Thump.

I felt my cheeks heat up, and I tried to hide my face under my scarf.

"You already know..."

"Call him over then! The more the merrier. He may even know how to ice skate." Jisoo winked before walking back over to Seokjin. "The two of us will be waiting inside." She nodded to Lisa and Jennie, who had already put away her phone.

I exhaled as I took my phone out.

Who knew asking someone out would take so much courage?

Here goes nothing....
