Chaeyoung's POV
Jennie and I immediately went off to find Jisoo and Lisa after finding her bear. Lisa and Jisoo, especially Lisa, were relieved; however, we didn't have time to discuss the revelation of Jennie potentially having found her childhood friend because the teacher had called for us, alerting that the bus was going to arrive very soon.
On the flight back to Seoul, Jennie finally informed the other two about what we had both discovered during our search of her bear. The duo were surprised at first, but after they got over it, they both started to tease her.
"Maybe we shouldn't have told them..." Jennie muttered as we both sat, waiting for our flight number to be called.
I offered her a small smile. "They would have found out sooner or later. Besides, they're your friends."
Jennie reluctantly nodded, leaning back on her chair as she glared over at the giggling pair across from us. "Right."

We arrived back at Seoul with no incident, and I spent the last few days of break relaxing around in my dorm.
Before I knew it, school had started, and three months had flown by. It was currently March: A week before the annual school festival.
Beep
Beep
Beep
I groaned, adjusting my position on my bed. Was it already 5AM?
Beep
I lifted my upper body, and reached out for my alarm clock needing a couple tries before I finally shut off the annoying sound. I plopped back face down on my bed, sighing into my pillow. It was the weekend, but because I had volunteered in setting up the school festival, I had to wake up way earlier than usual.
Remind me why I thought this was a good idea? I thought, getting up from my bed. I stretched my arms up to the ceiling, a satisfied moan leaving my lips.
I grabbed one of my scrunchies from my vanity and put my hair in a loose high ponytail. That'll do. It's not like Jungkook's going to care.
Over the past few months, the two of us had this weird atmosphere going around. That incident at the ice rink definitely had stirred something between us because we weren't as cautious and shy around each other anymore.
I made my way to the kitchen, grabbing the pancake mix from the pantry. As I started preparing the ingredients, I heard a yawn from behind me. I glanced over my shoulder before turning back. "You're awake."
I heard shuffling behind me, before Jungkook was by my side, peering at what I was doing. "Pancakes?"
I felt myself stiffen at the close proximity. Jungkook had been doing this numerous times since we got back from Jeju Island, but he still got to me every time. I didn't think he realized how flustered I became whenever he did it. He was just... so close.
I nodded. "I've always thought that pancakes were meant for weekends." I said, as I mixed.
Jungkook nodded. "Here, hand me that." Jungkook announced, gently grabbing my wrist which had froze earlier when he initially stood next to me. "You can start the stove and prepare the dishes."
I reluctantly handed him over the bowl, before peering at his face. His dark brown hair was tousled all over, which was evidently bed hair. And he was in his daffy duck pajamas, the exact one he wore when we first met. He looked cute.
I blushed lightly at the thought. "A-alright."
We worked together side by side, and as soon as the pancakes were made, we sat down and had breakfast.
I ate my food silently, occasionally sneaking glances at Jungkook. I didn't know he was also doing the same thing, so when we locked gazes at one point, I immediately looked back down at my pancakes, only to realize I had finished it all.
"Finished already?" Jungkook commented.
I nodded, leaning back on my chair. I noted that he was almost done as well. "So." I started. "What are you planning to do for our class concert?"
Jungkook finished munching on the remains of his pancakes before answering. "I'm thinking of playing the guitar."
"Ah." I replied. "You have gotten really good in these few months."
"Only because I have a good teacher." He smiled, causing me to subconsciously smile back, my heart fluttering from his expression. "What are you doing?"
"Sing." I said, before blushing. "I'm not that good though."
Jungkook shook his head. "I beg to differ." He commented. "Based on what I heard from your bathroom concerts, you have an amazing voice."
"You heard those?" I squeaked, my voice panicked.
"How could I not? You were singing My Heart Will Go On from the top of your lungs." He chuckled.
I sank back on my chair, embarrassed. I had thought the bathroom was soundproof!
"Speaking of the festival." Jungkook added as his chuckles died off. "We still have that race."
I sat back up from my chair, my mood completely changing. "Of course, and I'm still going to beat you so I can have my wish."
Jungkook raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure about that?"
I huffed, crossing my arms. If I had to be honest, I had never seen Jungkook sprint before, or know anything of his running experience, so I was a bit worried about the outcome. But I trusted the days I spent in track and field.
Jungkook's eyes crinkled as he smiled. "You're adorable."
"And I'm going to beat you." I replied, fighting off the growing blush from my cheeks. How could he say things like that so casually?
Jungkook got up from his chair. "We'll see." He drawled. "Now come on, we don't want to be late."
