"I love how you're doing my makeup, like I'm perfectly capable of doing it myself, but I couldn't turn you down. Everyone needs to be blessed by the one true beauty guru, James Motherfucking Charles." I sat in James apartment, ** (I know James bought a house, but when I first started writing this story he lived in his apartment still)** siting completely still with my eyes closed. He was blending my eyeshadow into a natural look for my date today with Grayson.

"Aww, sister Annie. You're honestly one of the truest and most appreciative person I've met. You always make me feel special, so thank you lots. I'm so thankful that one of my best friends in the entire world found a girl as incredible as you. You literally make him so happy, and I know he makes you happy too. You're so good for him." James spilled, referring to Grayson who James did care deeply about. I also cared deeply about him too, he has had such a major impact on my life.

James's comment made me blush, making me instantly smile. "Aww, James, I love you so much. Literally, you're the nicest person I've met. You understand me so well and we've literally only known each other for not long at all. I'm so thankful I got to meet you and everyone else, I'm so thankful you picked me. You've changed my life for the better, you're literally my hero." I opened my eyes so I could see James's reaction. He had the biggest smile on his face. He then held out his arms and pulled me in for a hug.

"Literally love you the most, almost made me cry." He let out a little laugh, letting go of me so he could fan his eyes. I let out a small laugh too, he was too precious.

"I love you too James, now I need some good sister advice for my sister-" I tried to think of another 's' word that could go along with Grayson and I'd date.

James gasped, "Sister spectacular date." After he said that I gasped too, jumping in my seat.

"Yes!! Sister spectacular date, love that."

"Me too, now don't move because I'm going to apply lipgloss, glossy nude work?" He asked before applying lipgloss on. I nodded, looking down at my white crop top hoodie and jean shorts.

"Yeah, so any advice?" I particularly opened my lips so James could apply the lipgloss easier. I watched him as he concentrated.

"Just be yourself, Grayson already loves everything about you so you don't have to worry about that. Um, yeah that's honestly all my advice, you guys literally are goals. I just want you two to have a fun day, so no worrying about anything, today is just about the two of you, okay?" James eyed me down, hinting to not worry about seeing my "parents" tomorrow. As hard as it might be, Grayson is a great distraction.

I nodded, closing my mouth. "Am I done?" I asked, about to stand up. James stopped me, grabbing his setting spray.

"We want this masterpiece to go through anything and everything today." He smirked, and I rolled my eyes back at him before closing them so he could spritz my face.

"Thanks for the sister spritz." Standing up, I hugged him one last time before we both walked into his living room. Grayson should be here any minute to pick me up. Emma and Ethan were doing something as well, but I wasn't exactly sure what they were doing. I'm sure she'll tell me all about it tonight.
