"Do you think it's too soon to become official with Annie?" The question that has been on my mind for awhile. There was no doubt in my mind that I wouldn't end up with this girl, it's just the matter of time, and when. But I wasn't 100% sure when to ask her.

Ethan looked over at me, the two of us sitting at a red light. A smile appeared on my brothers face, obviously happy for me and happy for Annie. It makes me feel even more sure to be with her because Ethan loves her. This is one of the few girls that he approves of because he knows how down to earth she is, how much she makes me happy, and that she isn't in it for the "fame".

Seeing my brother smile, I couldn't keep mine held back.

"Dude, to be honest if it was any other person I would say no, but it's Annie. And I know this is super cheesy, and weird since you're my brother, but I've never seen you look at a girl the way you look at Annie. I've also never seen you this happy, like the only other time I've seen you this happy is when you watch survival videos."

The red light turned to green, Ethan stepping on the gas. We were almost to Emma's, where James had some type of surprise for us.

Hearing Ethan say this really made me feel reassured. He's my brother, he knows me better than anyone, even better than myself.

Thinking, I made a plan in my head on what I was going to do.

"Tomorrow, I'll take her out, we'll go to the beach, and then I'll ask her." I want to have another cute date because she deserves nothing but the best. She's an angel.

Ethan nodded, agreeing with my plan. "Yeah, like go get some food, then head over to the beach, go swimming or something cute and then like when the sun is setting, ask her."

My heart began to pound just thinking about tomorrow. Letting out a scream, I curled my hands up into fists. "Ahhh I'm so nervous."

I watched as Ethan turned down the road to Emma's apartment. "Gray, this will all work out, then we all can go on double dates." He said, mentioning his relationship with Emma.

"True, it's so weird we are talking to another set of twins. If we get married will our kids look alike?" I tried picturing what our kids would possibly look like if everything worked out between all of us.

Ethan let out a chuckle, "Let's hope."

Very soon we pulled into the parking garage, pulling up next to both James and Emma. Ethan and I walked up the stairs to her front door, Ethan knocking.

Waiting a couple seconds for the door to open, I sat on my phone, reading some of my notifications. I heard the door open, expecting it to be Emma, but instead, it was Annie. Ethan walked through, the inside of Emma's apartment looked almost pitch black since the sun was so bright. Annie smiled at me, whispering "Hi, I missed you."

My insides twisted, Hearing the beautiful girl before me say that. I instantly cracked a smile, mouthing "me too." With that, I stepped in, my eyes adjusting from the outside to the inside of Emma's apartment. It took me a few seconds to focus, but before me stood a very familiar face.

No, not familiar, let me rephrase that.

The girl who stood there, smiling ever so widely was not just some girl, it was my ex girlfriend.

The girl who broke my heart.

The girl who I fell in love with when Ethan and I went to Australia.

My heart felt like it was beating in my throat. I couldn't process what I was seeing. She was here... how was she here?

She batted her long eyelashes, flashing me her beautiful smile that caught my attention the first time we met.
