I was going almost at a dead sprint as I went running around the city, quickly reacting to anything in my way. Leaping over trash cans, benches, swinging myself to the left with signs, and strafing to the side to avoid others! I was moving so much faster than I should have been. What the f███ did she do to me? What did she give me?! My body was taking in everything so quickly that I was surprised to know every detail, despite only seeing a blur of color. I was going too fast! I tried to slow myself down, but I couldn't take the time as I had to keep dodging and turning. Despite me running at high speeds, I could make out noises, but one stood out.

"Cassius!" Despite not being able to stop, what I did instead was fling myself around towards the voice. The blur of orange and red went past me quickly. "Slow down!"

"I can't!" I said. "It's like they have a mind of their own!" Veronica was nothing more than a blur, but despite that, I could keep spinning myself back to hear her constantly.

"Hold on! I'll think of something!" My body got tired of running from one place to another, so it decided to go and take a jog throughout the entire city. I'm pretty sure you know what I mean by jog....

Dodging other Pokémon and obstacles, I was running fast enough to where my legs almost felt like they were going to self-combust. If I wasn't going to be tired before, I sure was now. I ran by almost every single place imaginable, up and down town, on the borders and in the middle. I don't know how long I was running for, but it felt like for-f███ing-ever! Eventually, I saw something fly right into my face! It came out so suddenly that I didn't have time to react at all! It hit me square in the face, making me stumble a little bit, slowing me down a little, but I kept running. When I got the shape recognized, I saw Veronica clamped onto my face.

"This is your idea?!" Veronica grinned a little uncomfortably and laughed nervously. Right as this was going on, my body came to an abrupt stop. I slammed into something, really... really hard. I felt my legs still kicking to try and run, but I was suspended in the air for a minute as my entire body wracked in pain. Veronica had been thrown from my vision, not that I was looking. I had my eyes and teeth clenched tightly as I felt myself slide to the ground and fall backward.

"F███! This hurts like h███!" My right shoulder leading to my left leg was pulsing in pain. "Okay, probably a few broken bones, but I should be able to be fine if I can heal myself before the paaaaAAAAAAA" I quickly moved my left arm to my shoulder as I started to feel the pain come back harder. This was going to take a long while, but at least I got the pain in my shoulder to go away. When I was able to do that, I was able to dull the pain through the rest of my body as well, although I dared not to move until I knew that either my body was numb, or the pain was for sure gone. When I was done screaming, I was just panting, trying to get air back in my lungs to even just groan. Veronica came up in my vision.

"You better be glad Mom didn't hear that." She said.

"Hear... what?" Veronica smirked, she actually smirked at me while I was on the ground still in pain.

"She hates vulgar language." Veronica said. "Trust me, she's gotten Dad to stop, and he was spewing that out longer than I've been born." I didn't know whether to laugh or to take her seriously. I started to sit up, groaning as my body twitched. Veronica looked at me astonished.

"How are you able to get up after a collision like that?!" This time, I looked at her and smirked.

"When you get a benefit of recovering from almost anything, you tend to get up from a lot more than you'll think." As I tried to push myself up with my right arm, I winced a little bit. I barely kept myself back from grunting in pain and also barely able to keep myself up. My arm was busted as well, I just hadn't felt it till just now. Veronica caught me straining and ran beside me, trying to help me. Considering how small she was, it wasn't much help, but I guess it's the thought that counts.
