When I woke up, I could see again. Whatever had happened to me yesterday, it didn't seem like it was going to last forever. Still, I could feel the sorrow in my heart, the wound still fresh. I don't know where I was, but it looked like I was under a tree. I was on a branch as well, off the ground. I started to feel myself start to panic, but before I could, I saw Fang and Sky on two other branches. My panic attack calmed down, but it was only replaced with depression. I looked at my hands and saw cuts wrapped with some leaves. When I looked at my arms, I could see more leaves. I started to feel some on my face as well. I guess I had taken more hits than I was aware of. Either way, I couldn't stop myself from tearing up. I guess I was being too loud, but I felt the branch I was on shake a little bit. I didn't even look up before I felt Sky bring her head up under my chin. She raised my head and came in closer to me. I could only bring my arms out and wrap them around her.

"I'm right here Cassius." I felt myself choking as I even struggled to say her name. It wasn't long until I heard Fang's wings fluttering beside me. I heard the creak of another branch beside me, but I still felt her reach out with her front paws and her ribbons. She didn't say anything, but she still held onto me. They had offered me food, but I couldn't get myself to eat any of the berries they had found. I couldn't even look at Sky without tearing up and choke on the air. After a little bit, we got down onto the path after making sure no one was watching us. I couldn't stop thinking about Eric and Erika. Sky was carrying me on her back while I was an Eevee. Sky had my bag, and Fang still had her sword. I guess I lost the guitar back in Morgan when....

I held onto Sky, contempt to just bury my face into her fur. It was getting hard to even look at Fang. Her appearance reminded me of Kaitlin, and that would turn my thoughts to Erika. I clenched my teeth, trying hard not to make my crying audible, though both of them could probably see me trembling. Sky was probably feeling me shake on her back. Both of them tried to get me to talk, even if it was just simple answers, but I couldn't even speak without feeling like I was going to retch. All I heard were footsteps for who knows how long. Eventually, I started to hear noise up ahead. I didn't look up from Sky's fur, now wet with my tears. A few more steps, then I heard Sky speak up.

"We're here Cassius. We're at Erin. We're finally out of the country." This was probably the first time I raised my head since we got out of the trees. I looked past Sky, seeing a lot of large and tall buildings. I saw Pokémon up ahead that were walking all over the streets, flying through the air freely, and were more numerous than any other place I went. If I hadn't been told about Corona, I would've thought this place was the center of the country. I hadn't heard from Jet since I saw his deranged look back in Morgan, but at this point, I didn't want to be disturbed by him. We entered the city, and soon we merged in with the crowd. Fang tried over and over to get me to talk, but I just couldn't. How could she try and get me to talk about relaxing after everything that happened in Morgan? Eric dying, finding out Erika was... gone.... I would've just laid on Sky's back and just kept mourning when I got an awful feeling that I was being watched. I turned my head quickly, my red eyes looking over the crowd to see if I could spot out someone. At first, I thought I was imagining it, but then I saw something black spike up above the crowd and curve its way back in. I felt a severe sense of panic grab my heart, and before I even realized what I was doing, I was off Sky's back and running in the opposite direction. Sky and Fang saw me, and I could tell by how they called out my name.

"Cassius! Wait!" I couldn't stop my feet from running. I kept running and running until I found the closest and darkest alleyway I could find. I ran inside it, going as far in as I could, and stopped, feeling myself hyperventilating and crying at the same time. I sat down and put my front paws on the top of my head, covering my ears. My entire body was shaking, and I felt like they had followed us. I felt myself pop back to being a human when I caught some movement in front of me. As they came into my line of sight, I saw Sky and Fang looking at me. Sky seemed a bit frightened by how I looked, grasping the back of my head with my hands while Fang looked shocked.
