Rena and I were sitting in the hot tub, taking a minute to just relax after what just happened. I had my shirt off so it wouldn't get wet, letting my chest sink below the water. I didn't mind my shorts getting wet so much, but oh did the hot tub really help calm my nerves. Rena seemed to be enjoying the steaming water move around her body as well. I caught her eyeing me every once in a while. Every time she noticed that I had noticed, she would try and look away quickly, but a few recent catches earned a grin. The jet inside the hot tub was helping as well, but then I started to feel the jet rise from my lower back up. It made me shiver, and as I turned my head to see what was going on, I caught Rena with a grin on her face that described it all as she pulled back one of her tails. She chuckled a little bit and went to say something but was cut off by Serena's voice.

"Rena? Where are you?" Rena looked over at the entry way and called back.

"I'm in here Serena." Serena followed her voice until she came through and saw both of us sitting in the hot tub. My back was turned to her, but I had turned my head to see her stiffen as she saw me. I think I could tell why, but I disregarded the thought. I really just needed to relax and not have my mind messing with me.

"Care to join us?" Serena seemed hesitant, then came over towards us. She dipped her paw in the tub, then quickly pulled it out.

"It's hot!" Serena said with a little alarm. Rena and I looked at her confused, then Rena said something that made some sense I guess.

"That's right," Rena said, "you don't know a lot about hot tubs." Rena stood up and walked over towards Serena. "It helps you relax. It's a little hot, but it'll feel better as you walk into it." Serena looked at her sister for a minute, then tried again. She pulled it out again, but not as far, then tried a third time, letting the water wrap around her leg as she started to sink in deeper. Eventually, Rena convinced her to sit down behind a jet after trying to explain that. I gave her room to let her feel comfortable. After a second, she seemed to be enjoying it.

"See? It feels good, doesn't it?"

"Yeah." Serena said, still a little unsure. She looked up at me, then at her sister. Rena sat back down with her back to a jet and caught her sisters stare. She looked at me, then Serena looked at me. The attention was a little unnerving, but Rena looked at her sister.

"So, did the two of you have a nice chat?" Rena asked. "Because from how it was looking, you two were seeming like you were having an interesting conversation." I gave a nervous chuckle.

"Yeah, it was interesting." I said. Serena looked a little discomforted by something.

"There... is a question I would like to ask." Serena said. She looked up at me, her face showing hesitation. "Do you... do you care about life?" The question took me a little off guard, raising my eyebrows.

"Of course I do." I said. "Life is a beautiful thing." I was starting to sound somewhat like a scholar, but then I caught myself, then started to speak a little more reasonable to my perspective. "Life, no matter how hard it is, it's full of lessons that we're supposed to learn. Even if you end up in the wrong place at the wrong time, you learn. What you learn can change your life for the better." I wanted to add 'or for the worse,' but I didn't want to dampen moods. I made a self-conscious decision to try and make the better out of things. I caught Rena looking at me with a smile. I saw Serena blushing and trying to look away from me. I wasn't trying to sound modest, but there was no other way to say it pretty much.

"Cassius is really kind." Rena said. "He's really sweet, and he's got an amazing body." I sunk my head enough to hide my cheeks underwater so they couldn't see me blushing. I looked away from both of them as I mumbled underwater. Serena looked at me with great curiosity. Still in her shy attitude, she posed a question.
