Edit: Someone should just make a number of how many times I've forgotten to put music in the stories..... XC

After that long day, things around the house calmed down. Fang apologized to Helen and Veronica for what she did, I explained to them what I agreed to with Fang, and soon after, Maximus came back from work to get his first look at Fang. Ever since the two of us talked, she actually started being more like the book said. She jumped at Max's face, catching him off guard and making him fall back. Fang was going to fly into the door, but surprisingly, her wings actually carried her up and back towards me. Helen was about to jump at Fang until she realized what was going on. After the three of us realized what Fang had pulled, we couldn't help but laugh. Max on the other hand, was groaning from the sores and bruises from his matches.

I went to sleep in my room, keeping one side for Fang since Helen needed to talk to Max out in the living room. I fell asleep rather quickly, despite my worries that Fang might try and sneak up and get another kiss out of me. Guess I was just that tired. I didn't really dream about much. I couldn't really see, but I sure could feel it.

Everything was dark, so I couldn't really see anything in my dream besides the darkness. I tried looking around, maybe seeing if I could find something, but it was too dark to see anything. However, I did hear something. Laughing from the sound of it. Not the sinister kind, but a laughter that seemed pleasant. For some reason, it sounded familiar. I couldn't really place my finger on it until I heard the voice.

"Hello Cassius." I stated looking around again, trying to find the voice.

"Kaitlin?" I felt something cover my eyes gently as well as a giggle. Then I felt something wrap around my chest and arms.

"I miss you Cassius. We all miss you." Using what I could to try and move my arms, I tried to stretch my arms out enough to hug back, but I couldn't really move them much.

"I miss you too." I said. "I wish you could be with me right now. It would make things easier for me."

"We all do." Kaitlin said. "But... that won't be for a while longer. You need to keep going Cassius. Keep going north, and I know we will meet you there." I was about to talk back, but then I felt myself suddenly spaz out! I felt restricted all of a sudden, but I still couldn't see. I heard Kaitlin giggle again.

"Even though this is a dream, at least I can still show you how much I still love you." It was mind-blowing how much a dream felt like real life sometimes. My entire body tensed up, unable to move as I felt myself relax.

"Kaitlin... why do you always do this?" I asked. I heard her giggle again, then I felt her lips press down on my cheek.

"Why do you always have to be so cute and soft?" Kaitlin countered. The answer wasn't really coming to mind. All I wanted was one thing from her.

"Kaitlin, can I see you again?" I asked. "Please?" Her ribbons were still covering my eyes, but I felt them start to slowly move away.

"If that's what you want." Kaitlin said. "I'd be more than happy." I felt them come off my eyes, and when I looked, the image that was in front of me shocked me! It wasn't Kaitlin that was on top of me! It wasn't even a Pokémon! Black, long hair, brown eyes, and skin color that was similar to mine. The shock of what I saw forced me out of my sleep, pulling myself up quickly and breathing heavily. I looked around, making sure it was just a dream. I was still in Veronica's house. Or rather, Helen's house, but that wasn't the point. I didn't see the woman I saw in my dream around here. I was relieved when I realized this, but my sudden jump had gotten Fang to stir.

"Is everything alright Senpai?" I gave a sigh after relaxing my muscles.

"Yeah." I said. "Just... just a dream." I felt something wet down on my legs. I was curious as to what, so I slipped one of my hands under the blanket and felt what was on my leg. It was warm and sticky. I was confused what it was, so I pulled my hand out from under the blanket, hoping I could maybe identify it off sight. The color was a little weird, but it looked like a dirty white? It may have been my eyes trying to adjust to the light in the room. I decided to put it up to my nose and smell it. When I took a whiff of it in, I recognized the smell almost immediately. My eyes widened, and I quickly put my hand back under the cover, trying my best to wipe it off my fingers. I looked back at Fang, who was looking at me a little confused at first, but after looking at the expression on my face for a few seconds, her confusion became a large grin. She got up and started walking towards me.
