I began to stir from sleeping, putting my hand to my head. The headache was gone, and I wasn't feeling so dizzy. I sat up, massaging my forehead, trying to clear my vision. There was sunlight slipping in through a few windows. I noticed I was on a mattress with a light red cover sheet. Was it all just a bad dream? I mean, I wasn't wearing my shirt, which was normal for when I fell asleep, but where did I put it then? The items didn't look like mine either. I got up, letting my head regain a full conscious. I walked towards the doorway, and when I peered my head into the hallway, a smell came to my nose. Fresh fruit, nothing smelled better than that, except for maybe a few meats. I walked towards the end of the hallway and looked into the room from where it originated. I saw a Ninetales... what was her name again? It took me a minute, then I realized it. Rena! The name hit me like a slap to the face. So, this wasn't a dream, which meant... She turned her head towards the hallway and saw me peeking my head in the hallway.

"Good morning!" She said. I stiffened a little bit and hid myself a little bit more behind the hallway. I'm not exactly costumed to have my shirt off in front of others, especially a Pokémon that can talk.

"H-hey." I said. "Do you know where my shirt is?"

"I took it off so I could see if you were hurt anywhere else." Rena said. I started to blush, it was nice of her to check, but... it didn't feel.... "It's in here, just on the couch." The 'couch' seemed more like a small bed, but it seemed a decent size for a Ninetales, even if it was round with a semi-circle back. She noticed my hesitation.

"Come on, I don't bite." Blushing even brighter, I swallowed my pride and walked out. I grabbed my shirt and put it on. Once I was able to calm myself down, the smell of the food started to flow into my nostrils. I, however, was more focused on trying to get questions answered.

"Where am I?" I asked.

"You're in the town of Amos." Rena said. I tried to think in my head. Amos wasn't ringing a bell at all. Maybe it was just a small town that I hadn't heard of yet. One that was a little distance off.

"Is..." I was a little hesitant on my question. "Is that anywhere near Po town?" She looked at me, confused.

"Po town?" Rena questioned. "I've never heard of Po town. What was it named after?" The reply caught me off guard. I tried gathering my thoughts.

"I don't know why it was called Po town." I said. "But... that's where I live..."

"I'm sorry to say," Rena said. "but I haven't heard of a place called Po town in our area." My face turned to complete astonishment. Po town was notorious in the Alola region! How could... I took a breath, then tried one more question.

"What region are we in?" I asked.

"Region?" Rena questioned. I tried to clarify.

"Area, habitat." Rena shook her head, still confused.

"We're in the land of Lear if that's what you're asking." Rena said. Once again, my mind shattered. My last attempt to find out if I was just somewhere in the Alola region... gone... My legs began to shake until I didn't even feel myself fall back.

Where are you taking me?!

To a place that will more openly welcome you. I put my hands to my head. I was taken away from where I was raised, from what I was taught. Tears began to form in my eyes. I only vaguely saw Rena coming towards me.

"Are you okay? What's going-" She must have noticed my tears, which inspired her next words. "Are you okay? Why are you crying? No one can hurt you here."

"I know." I said through the tears. "That's why I'm crying." She looked at me, confused by my statement.

"What?"
