"NO" slamming my laptop shut thanks to my school posting what this years senior projects will need to be on. How the hell can I do a family tree when my family only consists of four people including me and I'm only actually related to two of them!

My step father Dale who by all by all intent and purpose's is my father seeing as my real dad didn't stick around to even meet me.

When I was younger I always use to ask my mom about my 'Real Dad' she would always look away and say " you're not old enough to understand" of course me now being just a month shy of 17 I understand without having to ask he's just another deadbeat in the world.

My mom's side of the family is a no good since she grew up in the foster care system until she was booted out at 18 then got knocked up with me. Yay

Then there's my little brother Dylan who at seven years old is a complete hell raiser and I'm still not 100% positive there wasn't a mix up at the hospital and my real laid back brother is out there somewhere.

"Kierra if your not ready in five minutes I'll let Dylan show Liam that video of you singing 'Barbie Girl' into the hairbrush."  Okay obviously he get's the evilness from our mother .

"Kiki I deleted that last week." Ah my daddy the hero! " I think so anyways."  Well shit.

"I'm coming! No need for threats."

We are going to dinner with my boyfriend Liam and his father. While I'm about to start my senior year of high school Liam will be a freshman at the University of Virginia. We have been dating for the last year and a half and while I am excited for him to go to his number one pick of schools it's still a very long way from California.

Sitting in the backseat with Dylan this project already has me looking at my mother and I mean really looking comparing our features. Something I haven't done in so long. We have the same sun kissed blond hair but that's where our similarities stop. She has ocean blue eyes to my forest green ones my nose is sharper, cheekbones are higher even my tan is shades darker. It's a little unsettling that some where out there is the man that didn't want me.

"What has you so far away princess?" Dad asks from the drivers seat.

"Just the sen.." but before I can finish my sentence our car is flipping and all I can hear is the word "SHIFT' before it all goes black.
